Having spent a day looking at properties that were not inspiring, we wandered through Kendal slightly deflated when we passed Scottbainbridge estate agents looking for some inspiration and thought we would drop in for help. Having an informative and friendly conversation with the proprietor Iain he produced a rabbit-out-of-the-hat property that not only inspired us but changed our expectations from one of functionality to one of great potential. The property was stunning and that evening, on a bank holiday weekend, Iain came out-of-hours to show us around and again on the bank holiday Monday. It was well out of our price range, however Iain quickly negotiated a great price, and by the end of the same week agreed a price with the sellers. With thanks to Iain for making the whole process an enjoyable experience. Using the portals can be very useful but there is a lot to be said for a more personal, bespoke service and this is what helped us to achieve our dreams.
