Stuart provides just the right balance of carrot and stick, and his willingness to adapt training plans to your aims and the environment you're training in is much appreciated.

Q&As

I listen carefully and ensure I understand your goals/targets and expectations. I offer support and encouragement outside our sessions to give you the extra support you need to help achieve your goals. This may range from regular contact on the phone, email, text messages, face time and can include written exercise programmes to be completed outside of PT sessions, food diary/meal plan management.

There are no secrets, we all have different body's and what works for one person, may not work for someone else. Firstly you have to make the commitment to yourself that you want to change and are prepared to put the time in to achieve this. Part of my role is to work out what exercises are right for you and ensure you can complete these safely with competence.

I love seeing the end result, clients happy smiles and belief in what they have achieved. My ability to use my experience, motivation and confidence to help clients achieve their goals is priceless

My love for everything health and fitness related. I wanted to use my experiences in life and sport to be my own boss and run a business my way with freedom.

I'm friendly and easy going, but when it comes down to the hard work I have the ability of making you give 100% and bring out your potential.

Running and Event Training (Triathlons, Assault Courses etc)
Do you have a big event coming up? Need some extra help with your preparation? Whatever the distance or event, why not get in touch and we can make sure you achieve your goals. Whether you are a first-timer who just wants to get round the course or a regular who is looking to shave a few extra seconds off your personal best, Stuart can help. SCB Fitness will help you develop a training plan, work with you during your preparatory sessions and assist you in the final build-up to the event - not forgetting that all important advice on post-event recovery.

Personal Training (Individual Sessions)
Arrange a one-to-one session. This is a personally tailored workout aimed at achieving your goals and objectives. At SCB Fitness we focus on your strengths and work with (not against) your weaknesses, whilst making sure your technique and posture are correct, effective and safe. One to two sessions of personal training per week are recommended to see real results.

Express Training
Are you looking for a total body blitz for fast results? Express training is short, sharp, frequent and intense, involving 30 to 60 minute sessions three to five times per week. This is ideal if you want to look and feel great in that little black dress or tux for a special event. Express training alongside nutritional advice will help you achieve that quick fix and give you the confidence to continue investing in your health and fitness regime.

Group Training
If you prefer to train with a friend, colleague or partner, this is the perfect option for you. Training in a more social environment can make exercise more fun, motivational and enjoyable. It doesn’t matter if your abilities and fitness levels are different, as the training will be tailored to suit.
