Cannot fault these guys at all. Really engaged in all the kids there and gave each one attention. My daughter was made to feel very welcome and most importantly she had fun while learning. I remember walking up the stairs on my first day some weeks back to go into my first ever MMA gym with no knowledge what so ever and I was absolutely bricking it, until I spoke to the first person I seen, who happened to be Damien the head coach. I was put at ease straight away and made to feel welcome. The classes are beginner friendly and the coaches will go at your pace, nothing is rushed. What I found strange though was that members who have a lot of knowledge and know what theyre doing enjoy showing the new guys in the gym different techniques to use and how to counter another technique, where I thought they would rather improve their own techniques rather than helping someone new. Such a friendly and fun environment to train in. Don't think about it, just get down to SBG and give it a go, you wont regret it. :) More...

First time ever being involved in martial arts so was a bit nervous about starting, but can honestly say that I have been welcomed like family, as has everyone else who has stepped through the door. Absolute legends! Came through as a traveller just passing through on work and got treated like royalty. Its great to see a gym keeping it real and teaching us funamental BJJ the stuff that will save your life. Its not all about IBJJF points is it. Great lesson on leg locks. 10/10 im a lucky boy to get to travel and go learn from these places. Please come to carlsons in london and have a roll with us (all of you) we would love to have you around.
