We went last night for our Anniversary and so wanted to be impressed. The look and ambiance of the restaurant were lovely and very inviting, unfortunately I found my meal (all courses) to just be ok. For the price, I feel it should be better than ok. Calamari was over cooked and too crunchy and the chicken I had for main was very dry (very artistically set out though). I am typically British and didn’t speak up which I should have done, so my fault! Staff were lovely, as it wasn’t that busy, we were in and out in just over an hour. The choice of food is super, and the quality also. I had the Sophia Loren and it was gorgeous, although my husband ordered duck, unfortunately they have taken it off the menu but sounds like for good reason once explained. the service was impeccable with the owner coming to chat with us making us laugh. it was a little bit of Italy right on our door step. amazing place, food was unbelievable, very well cooked and all fresh, the owner said nothing is reheated, he takes a real pride in his place and loves to come and talk to you, but not over powering. The waiting staff were lovely, friendly and didn't rush anyone. They have special offer nights as well like tapas and live music. Been here many times with the wife and also with friends. My wife loves it here and we always come here for her birthday and tonight was no exception, to celebrate her 21st once again! !! lol From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome and was looked after by ALL the staff. Amazing and friendly and really made our night. They are amazing!!! The drinks were well priced and tasted perfect!!! I love a Peroni and it was crisp and delightful!!! The wife loves a gin and the selection was amazing for her. She eventually moved onto wine and she enjoyed them just as much. The food was unbelievable!!! So tasty and so full of flavour!!! Unfortunately we were too full for dessert!!! Maybe next time!!! The after care was amazing!!! We were escorted back to the bar with drinks in tow and we were given free shots to celebrate my wife’s birthday and had a lovely, cosy chat with the owners who are the most adorable people ever and truly care about their customers. They openly talked about what they are doing and what they are trying to achieve with their restaurant. In my opinion is it perfect but if you can add to perfection then I can’t wait to come back!!! And by the way, this place serves STEAK!!! Now I love a steak and I am very particular about how I want it any how it is presented!!! Fantastic evening, joint Black Belt and 18th Birthday celebration. Pre-ordered for 16 meals, including various food intolerances, we arrived 1/2 hour early and were able to enjoy a few drinks at the bar, we were seated on time, and the starters came within minutes, mains arrived with all the choices correct, piping hot, and yummy. Then those that had room fitted in their puddings too. The staff were very attentive, and all who attended agreed it was a great venue for a large group! Thank you and see you again very soon! What an awesome place!my husband and I visited last night for our first wedding anniversary meal and we certainly will be going back. From the outside you blink and miss it,but inside it is huge and beautifully laid out.a real hidden gem. If your wanting dinner in a rush I wouldn’t suggest this is the place for you,it’s a great place to relax and take your time making a whole evening experience as opposed to get in,eat and get out again. On entry we were invited to enjoy a drink at the bar and then we were taken to our table 20minutes or so later which was a nice relaxed start to our evening. The layout of the restaurant was lovely,really reminded me of being in Greece in a taverna (the only thing missing was the sea view!�)I loved the open kitchen where you could watch the magic happening! The menu had a great choice of Italian and Mediterranean food,in fact it was hard to choose what to have!!! The service was great,staff super polite and friendly,not rushed and a nice steady pace giving plenty of time to chat,it had a really nice atmosphere. A really nice touch I thought was the owner taking time to take all tables dessert orders and having a chat with everyone which I thought was a real nice personal touch and the food was incredible!
