Personal Care
We understand that each client is an individual with distinct personal needs, interests, and values, so they will respect your privacy. All of our support services will be fully tailored to your specific needs.
We can assist you with a wide variety of personal care tasks, including, for example:
⁃ Assistance with getting ready for the day (help with getting up, washing, showering or bathing, dressing, and eating breakfast. This can also include assistance with using the restroom and toilet, brushing the teeth, and shaving.)
⁃ Preparing for bed
⁃ Assist you with your health, Taking care of your medications, recognising and addressing your health needs, and scheduling meetings with healthcare practitioners on your behalf.
⁃ Help you with your grooming. Hair washing, drying, and combing, as well as foot care and personal hygiene management, are all things that need to be taken care of in which we can assist you with. Also, help with clothing selection and care is available too.
⁃ Help with food, Making drinks, menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and food preparation assistance are all available.
Domestic Duties

Managing Meds
Support for medication can be provided in a variety of ways to ensure that you are taking the correct medication at the correct time. We will remind you to take your medication, assist you in selecting the appropriate medication, or provide complete administrative help, boosting your morale and motivation that your health needs are being met.
Every member of our care team receives full training in Medication and is therefore trained and certified to assist, or prompt your medication.
For many people, remembering to get and renew prescription medication is a daunting task. We can make sure your prescription is delivered on time to the doctor’s office, and we can collect your prescription products from the pharmacy when they are ready and send them to you, or we can arrange for regular deliveries straight from the pharmacy if that is more convenient for you.
Respite
If you work as a caregiver for a family member, you typically don’t get much time off, and although supporting a loved one is incredibly rewarding, it’s also extremely difficult. We will assist you in getting a few days of rest and recreation to boost your stamina and enthusiasm.
All you have to do is give us the specifics of your daily care routine for your relative or friend. You can also have our carer accompany you for a day to meet your loved one and show them where the items they’ll need are stored. We will then visit as requested during your respite break, or remain in your home to provide live-in treatment as scheduled.
Meal Prep
At Sams Helping Hands, we offer an attentive personal service for food shopping and meal preparation. Our carers are aware of the value of eating well, and will work with clients to prepare meals that they will enjoy while also assisting them in being healthier. We'll do our best to accommodate your requirements. We can accompany you to the stores and assist you with your shopping, or we can work out a shopping list for you and shop for you on your behalf. After that, we can either prepare your meal for you or assist you as you do so. Following that, we will clean up and do the dishes for you.
End of Life Care
The end-of-life process may be a delicate and stressful moment for everyone concerned, and there are frequently many decisions to be made regarding a person's specific care as well as post-passing decisions and arrangements.
At Sams Helping Hands, we want to be able to provide emotional and physical support to not only the service user, but also to the family to make the process a little less overwhelming for you and your family
