The whole family is so grateful for the brilliant and empathetic support that Rusko Care has delivered for my wife across the last two years and it has enabled her to remain much longer in her home than otherwise would have been the case. I could not have coped without the support that has been received from her dedicated carer and her kindness and deep patience with Janet. Her personal care made such a difference, as did her quick appreciation of what care would work best to match Janet’s mood on any particular day. Whether it was drawing, reading to each other, looking at favourite photos, washing hair, grooming nails or going for a walk – she instinctively knew the appropriate strategy to give my wife the greatest pleasure
It has been so useful to have her external input into how she observed presentation changes across the period of contact. I so appreciated her willingness to increase her hours of attendance across the last few months, commensurate with my wife’s changing and increasing Care needs.
We have now moved into a different chapter in her journey through Dementia, with my wife now in resdential care,and the part your team have played is complete, but I would have no hesitation in unreservedly recommending Rusko Care to anyone who found themselves in the position we were in at the start of 2022. It is a very upsetting and stressful time when you have to accept you can’t cope, and need help in your own home. I couldn’t imagine how I would adapt to strangers finding where everything is and how everything works.

However from the first day, my fears were unfounded, every carer that has been in my home, has been absolutely wonderful. More than I imagined. This is a five star company giving a five star service. I’m extremely grateful. I feel comforted to know that moving forward, as things progress, I will be cared for.

My father received care four times a day with Rusko for 10 days before having to go and stay in a nursing home. All of the team were kind, respectful and my father built up a good rapport with staff during this time. On one particular evening we were listening to music and the staff arrived and one of the carers sang for us all. It was lovely and we really appreciated it, he went above and beyond.
