I went in The Farm Shop today for the first time in a while. I'd actually taken my neighbour for coffee in the café next door but as she'd never been there before, I took her in to show her. It seemed to have an even better selection of fruits and vegetables than I remember. Certainly far more choice than you'd find in your average supermarket. All the produce looked fresh and inviting. There is also a Butcher on site selling meats from a counter and prepacked refrigerated fresh meats. There is a florist, a cake selection, fresh eggs, dry goods and greeting cards amongst other things. Attached to the Farm Shop is a small Garden Centre selling plants, trees and shrubs. More...

Farm shop is well stocked and displayed with easy view/access. The quality is worth the price on the packet. Was really disappointed in the cafe staff. The staff were talking amongst themselves and inattentive. We waited over 45 minutes for a 2 person order and the cafe's capacity was 8 at most. Poor customer service. We bought resilian plants which should last for long however the plants died within first couple of weeks. I have called the farm shop, sent an emails with the pictures of the plants and I was just told to wait for someone to get back to me. When I went to the shop the site manager was not helpful and said that it must be our fault for the plants to die. There was no offer of swapping the plants for the healthy ones or giving us a refund. Just to mention we spent around 100£ on them . Today we went to the Blue Diamond just down the road, bought new plants and have been told that they have 5 years guarantee on them and the customer service was just above and beyond! More...

I went to the small cafe, it was dirty, I eventually decided not to eat, the waiting staff were inattentive, and clearly need training. I asked for my table to be cleaned, waited and asked a second Waitress to clean, she sprayed the spray bottle all over the table, instead of onto the cloth and wiping properly. In the actual farm shop a lady even pushed her trolley into me to get me to move 😳 by reversing it into me until I moved…. looking me dead in the eye and continued instead of just asking me to move.
