Having decided to uprate an existing solar panel system I decided to look for a local firm as had altrready delt with one of the big conglomerates. Top class work by Luke. I have a 14 year old Solar System and my meter readings were clearly far lower than expected last week. Contacted Rolling Renewables Ltd, spoke to Charlotte and she advised me clearly, sent me an inspection quote. Luke came 3 days later, checked out my System, found I needed a new meter. Installed new meter, with improved wiring over existing wiring. Delighted with the professional work, very tidy all round. Very happy with service which was recommended to us by a neighbour. Excellent Service. I have an existing solar panel system, coming up to 13 years old. The inverter packed up and needed replacing. Spoke to a couple of companies, then contacted Rolling Renewables. Spoke to Paul, who is very knowledgable regarding solar and battery. He explained that I needed to “replace like for like” so as not to invalidate my FIT payments. I chose this moment to discuss battery storage and made arrangements to meet Paul in his show room. (Well worth a visit) He was excellent and explained all my options. I am a person who asks lots of questions and Paul answered them all. The inverter was fitted by Luke. He set up the wireless connection and explained how it worked. He also went through my questions regarding battery storage. A credit to the company. Finally, they are very competitive on price, at no point during discussions were they “pushing” for a sale. When we decided to get a solar panel and storage solution for our house we initially didn’t know where to turn. The choices of providers and installers was overwhelming. Fortunately we had a friend who had recently gone down the same route and he was very good at describing what he needed and who he had chosen for his work. Once he gave me a guided tour around his solar and storage installation we quickly knew who we wanted for ours - Rollings Renewables. Like most people, before committing ourselves, we did an online search and were delighted at the universal positive comments that customers of Rollings Renewables had posted. Based on these reviews we immediately contacted Rollings and spoke with Corey who quickly organised a site visit. Both Corey and Charlotte were impressively knowledgable about solutions to our requirements. A quote quickly followed which we were happy with and a date for installation was agreed. Once the scaffolding was erected the installation took place. With Nick and Sam placing the solar panels on our roof and Luke conducting the electrical installation, progress was rapid. We must mention Luke who brought to our attention various potential issues and his recommended solutions. Throughout the period he was an exemplary representative of Rollings Renewables. Always respectful of our property, courteous and very considerate to our numerous questions. He gave me a very comprehensive explanation of what our new solar and storage solution would do, was doing and could do in the future. He is a singularly very impressive member of Rollings. Once the job was completed nothing was left behind, not the usual bits of stripped cable or bits of cardboard and polythene. It was if they had never been there! We are absolutely delighted with our solar and storage system and are equally delighted to have had Rollings Renewables be our provider and technical experts. I've been really pleased with the professionalism of Rollings Renewables, from the first visit by Paul to discuss requirements and put together the quote, through to the installation team who did a superb job to minimise the visible impact of the installation and the excellent after sales support. I'd had a couple of other quotes, but the confidence in their product and advice on the installation convinced me to select them. In the first few weeks of use the system has significantly reduced my electricity costs, even with limited sunlight, by being able to take advantage of an off peak tariff to top up the battery overnight. Rolling's recently installed a full solar system at our house in Upton upon Severn.. From the first quote to the final commissioning they were very professional and did all they said they would. Quality of the installation was good and the price was very competitive. The only slight hiccup was than the internal electrical engineer turned up a day early when i was at work. But after a short chat they agreed to come back the following day when i was home. Fantastic experience from quote to installation of a GivEnergy All In One and Gateway. The installation guys were great, and extremely careful to clear up any mess that was made. They asked for my opinion on a few things to make sure I was aware what was being done. System install was completed and left working. I did come across a couple of teething issues as I learned more about the system, not totally unexpected with brand new equipment I guess, but the important thing is that Rollings were quick to respond and got the issues sorted quickly. Car Charger in a detached garage. I requested a quote. Paul came round to visit the site due to the complexity of the job. He was very informative and explained the work needed. The job required a lot of groundworks. Simon left the site as he found it and done a fantastic job. Luke completed all the electrical work. Great service by the team at Rollings Renewables. I have recently had a Givenergy battery and inverter system fitted. At the beginning Paul listened to what I was after and gave me several different options from different manufacturers. Settled on the Givenergy system as in my personal opinion, it’s give the best performance for the price. Anyway, come the day of install, the team arrived nice and early and other than me supplying them with coffee, I didn’t really hear from them until they need to test and show me how the system worked! The guys set the system up and demoed it to me before clearing away all evidence of their visit. Since install the system has run perfectly and I haven’t paid for any peak rate electricity since!!! The only electricity I’m paying for now is the night rate when I’m charging my Tesla. But even that is reduced as the battery helps charge the car and replenishes for free during the day on solar. Basically the system has done exactly what I wanted it to and currently will pay for itself inside 2 years! Great feeling not having to pay the bloodsucking electricity bill! Anyway, as you can see from the photos, I am boxing the battery and inverter in, just for extra protection and to stop prying eyes lol Fully recommend Rollings Renewables and have done so to neighbours and friends who are also interested in saving money long term on electricity! We have recently had a sizable installation over 3 roofs which was carried out totally painlessly. From initial contact to sign off, we were kept fully informed and not pressurised in any way. A true family run business with the professional touch. Apart from providing a few mugs of tea (my offer!) we had nothing to do and at the end have a system which instantly started providing power for us. Great to have visibility on the App as well. Corey very kindley sorted this out for us. Paul, Charlotte, and the team provided us with a 10 panels solar system (2.95kWp) fitted to our detached garage, with a SolarEdge Inverter (3. 6kW) and two SolarEdge Home Batteries (20kWh storage). The installation was very neatly done by a fantastic team of four and everything was integrated into our existing solar system (4kWp) and Zappi EV charger. Corey has been super helpful with remote management of the commissioning and the initial bedding in. The system is performing well and we are self-sufficient on most days including car charging and overnight grid top ups when we have long trips planned. We would definitely recommend using Rollings Renewables, they were of great help in designing the best system to expand our existing system and gave us loads of advice without any pressure to buy or have specific equipment. We will definitely be having them back to switch to a SolarEdge home backup system when they are fully released in the UK, so we can keep the lights on in a power cut. If we could, we would give them 6 stars for service, professionalism, and customer care, but they will have to settle for the maximum of 5! The SolarEdge kit "Just Works" and when SolarEdge fully release the battery control in the app it will be the system I dreamed of. More...

I just wanted to post a review of Rollings Renewables following the install of PV panels and SolarEdge inverter & battery at our home. From the initial inquiry, through to install, commissioning and aftercare, Rollings have been an outstanding company to deal with. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable and honest on the different types of systems available, to work within your budget. Corey has been incredibly helpful with the software and setting up of the system. The installation was undertaken professionally and very efficiently. Within 24hrs of completion we were benefiting from significantly reduced electrical bills! We had a minor issue with the battery not speaking to the inverter following a SolarEdge update but within 24hrs, Rollings came out to adjust the settings and since then, system has operated amazingly and has very much exceeded our expectations. Rollings have been a fabulous company to work with. One of the main reasons we decided to proceed with them, is that they are a local, family run business. The whole process from start to finish was stress-free with the added bonus of dealing with a really nice bunch of people. Communication was great, with any questions I had via email answered quickly with all the information I needed. It makes a really pleasant change for people to actually turn up at the time and date they say, and carry out the job to a really high standard. Rollings bent over backwards to fit my system at short notice before we went away on holiday, including changing our minds about what exactly we wanted fitted and where. Rollings Renewables were recommended to me by a friend who had used them to instal an EV charge point. I contacted them and they very quickly booked in a date for my charge point to be fitted just by me giving a simple explanation of what car I had, and where I wanted it fitted, along with a couple of photos. In the run up to the fitting they kept in contact with me and gave me options for colours of the charger and lengths of cable. The fitting was done on time and to an excellent standard and they also gave me help on setting up the Hypervolt app and guidance on using the charger. With the crazy increase in energy costs it made sense to install solar panels and a home battery in our house which has a large south facing aspect to the rear roof. I researched a number of local companies but Rollings stood out as an organisation with consistently good reviews and a proven track record. Following my initial phone call it wasn't too long before Paul Rollings visited to carry out a proper survey and advise the best position for the inverter and battery. Our installation date was set and my only crticism is that I didn't get a reminder a day or two before the scaffolders arrived (my mistake I suppose!) but everything went ahead as planned and the guys (John, Luke and Ian mostly) did a fantastic job, hiding the only external wiring behind the downpipe. We are delighted with the work and now look forward to a few more sunny days to reap the benefit of our not inconsiderable investment but I strongly believe that you get what you pay for and Rollings really do know their stuff. I subsequently discovered that Rollings had installed a car charge point for my eldest son a couple of years ago and he was also full of praise for the speed and neatness of the installation which has worked faultlessly since. Installed a 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery at my home in St John’s, to work with my existing 4kWh solar panels and they were so punctual and professional. The owner had cause to call out to discuss an aspect of the installation and just wanted the find a solution rather than give me a problem and a compromise.
