Robbie really saved the day for us. Our 8 year old son’s birthday party had been booked for months and the entertainer we were due to have backed out at the very last hour!
It worked out well that Robbie had also had a late cancellation and so when he contacted me it really did save the day. From that moment Robbie put my mind at ease and communicated with me about the show, timings and what to expect.
He was friendly and very easy to engage with. On arrival Robbie set up and then kept all the children engaged throughout, as well as the adults!
He really did save the day, and our son had a brilliant time. He said he wouldn’t have changed anything and enjoyed it all!!

Robbie was very professional he took the stress out of what is a busy day for parents. He kept the children captivated for the whole two hours and my daughter had the best birthday. The rabbit at the end was a big hit with the children. There was lots of information provided before the day with prompts of what his schedule was, so we knew exactly when to bring the cake what time the children ate. The party was delayed because of issues at the venue so it took a little longer for us to set up and this was out of our control, however Robbie stayed over his allotted time to make sure the party got the full 2 hours. Booking procedure was easy and confirmation received quickly and we were kept upto date with emails and calls nearer to the event. Very approachable and changed content at the event to suit the crowd. Set up was quick (after arriving late due to trouble on the motorway) ..and everyone enjoyed the show and the photo opportunity with the fluffy rabbit.  hi kate, this is absolutely lovely to read. I completely stand by the very wise, saying in the Showbiz world which is the following “an entertainer is only as good as his audience“. Now if you think about that for a minute it really is true, because if you have an audience who are boring miserable, and just in general, not wanting to be there watching a show you’ll find that the entertainer has nothing to work with. Now, luckily for me the event last night where I performed for you and your wonderful daughter had a room full of amazing fun, bubbly, energetic children and their wonderful parents, families and friends who were all there for one reason and one reason alone, and that was simply to have fun and make an enjoyable experience. So as much as I thank you for your kind words I have to say it wasn’t just me entertained the room. Robbie Star made my granddaughter's 7th birthday her best birthday party experience ever. My granddaughter is autistic and can really struggle with noise, new people and busy stimulating environments.
All this was set aside when Robbie arrived and made such a powerful connection with her and all her friends that they were all drawn in to the joy of the afternoon.
From the moment of first laughter to the beautiful moments of calm with the sweetest little rabbit and Robbie this 7th birthday party could not have been more perfect.
My granddaughter will always remember the joy and fun and the magic of this day.
Her pride in herself (and the confidence Robbie inspired in her) to 'do magic' will be a moment that will stop with her for years to come.

As Headteacher at Westmorland Primary School, a larger than average primary school on the outskirts of Stockport serving an area of significant disadvantage.
We chose Robbie Star Entertainment to provide us with magic shows for children across the school.
From the outset and with the efficiency of first contact, I knew that we had chosen the right person for the job, subsequent conversations in person with Robbie demonstrated to me his absolute passion and dedication to his work and his clear knowledge and experience in the industry of managing large groups of children shone through.
The performances (tailored to the different age groups) were exceptional, the children and staff were captivated throughout , the fast paced show was ideal for our children. Robbie left the children giggling and wanting more magic. I booked Lightning Bolt Entertainment for my daughter's 6th birthday party.
Robbie was great from the get-go. Booking was easy and I was kept informed.
The set-up was minimal and didn't take long to do. Kids arrived and were welcomed.
The kids really enjoying it and got involved with the magic. My daughter was given a special part in the show, which was great. She was a bit shy, but soon got involved with Robbie's warm, friendly approach.
There was a chance for the children to meet the rabbit at the end and have pictures taken.
Robbie also got parents involved. It was nice to see.
I would highly recommend Lightning Bolt Entertainment for all-round entertainment and being a pleasure to deal with.

WOW What can I say , Robbie was fantastic, I looked at booking a children’s entertainer as I had arranged a party at my house on my last day of childminding for 13 years , I have present mindees and mindees that had left and in their 20s come back for my last day, I couldn't have chosen a better person to entertain the kids, Robbie included all children even the older ones and asked if they use to come to my setting , Also he included the parents in games which was funny and all had a great fun.
I can’t thank you enough also for coming on the hottest day of the year 🥵🥵😊 kids all loved sparkle too

How long have you been interested in magic?
I’ve been interested in magic since I was around 5 years old. I remember seeing a magician perform at a school fete and from that day forward it was all I ever wanted to be.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
My show is a big mixture of different styles of entertainment. I collaborate everything from classic illusions to slapstick style comedy.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the smile I put on peoples faces. If you love the job you do, you will never work a day in your life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working as an entertainer was all I ever wanted to do. I remember speaking to the careers advisor at high school before I left, and telling them that I wanted to be an entertainer. I remember being told that I had to come to reality, “how about an electrician, or a plumber“ they said.
It was people like this that made me even more determined, and now here I am 15 years later running a very successful business.

I am very proud of the entertainment style and the entertainment packages that I’m offering in the area. Sadly after doing my own research I realise that I am one of the very few entertainers left that are not a chain. My business is a very small, and very local, and very independent business. I put my pride heart and passion into what I do, and I will always perform the show to the best of my ability.
