Rob Elford has been a Personal Trainer & Sports Therapist for over 15 years working with both Private and Corporate clients from across the world, both in-person and remotely.

He has worked with clients from every background with very differing demands, from international athletes from a wide range of sports including motor racing, Polo, Tennis, Dressage to London based FinTech businesses running their complete Wellness Schemes to mums and dads that just want to feel fitter and healthier.

Personal Trainers

Rob is a brilliant trainer. Explains everything very clearly, pushes you through the session but without it feeling pressured. Clearly he puts in a lot of hours after the session as well working on the nutrition and planning for the next session. More...

In October 2014, aged 56, I asked Rob to help me train for my first London Marathon. I hadn’t run over five miles since I was at school so it was not going to be easy. The first thing he said was ‘I’m going to make you can believe you can do it’ and this has always stuck with me. By the way, I completed the Marathon in 4hr41m with my daughter and we raised £25,000 for Children with Cancer. With Rob’s help, I have run another three marathons and improved my time each year. I’ve been working with Rob for about 4 years now and I can honestly say I look forward to every session.

Yes I work hard and yes he is a great motivator to push yourself to your best effort of the day. But he is also very intuitive about what to do in each session and tailors my exercises according to my current goals, mental and physical health.

He’s helped with with my goals in dressage, running and cycling, while working to support my back problems through tailored exercises.

I definitely would not have reached some of my goals without his help!

I have been training with Rob Elford for the past 10 years and he is the best personal trainer I know. I am an extremely active person - I play polo, tennis, and golf year round and ski in the winter. Rob tailors the training to the sport I'm focused on in order to achieve maximum output. I have had quite a few injuries over the years and Rob has got me back on the road every time, in record time. My husband and I both train with Rob and we both think he is really great. He definitely challenges you and the challenges are realistic and achievable. But what is also brilliant is how Rob explains what your muscles are doing and how they work with other parts of your body (including your mind when you think you need to stop). I am really interested in how the body functions in exercise and have found Rob to be really knowledgeable and explain it clearly for me to understand and apply when training. The sessions are also great fun and no matter what you feel at the start you feel great at the end. If you’re injured the training can be adapted and if you’re struggling with something you want to be able to do (I have fads when I decide I want to do something: clap press ups is my latest) Rob can work with you to overcome the difficulty. He is really flexible and listens, is empathetic and communicates brilliantly. I really cannot recommend him highly enough. More...
