Highly recommend Rob for anyone who wants to get into the gym or to support your current training programme. I went to Rob as I was still after years of going to the gym suffering from gym-phobia. Rob supported me with my main concern of just making sure I was doing all the exercises correctly and gave me that confidence back! I now keep in touch with Rob online and the occasional 121 session just to go over anything I’m worried about. Couldn’t be more thankful to have him as a PT! More...

Rob has been really helpful and supportive throughout the period we have been working together. I have progressed really well under his guidance. I am an online client of Robs and I am genuinely so happy with my experience. Rob is very knowledgable and listens to what I say and what I want from my time with him. I am very busy, so was apprehensive about embarking with an online coach in case I didn’t have time. But that’s not the case, Rob designs workouts for me that are effective and efficient and align with my goals. The app you get access to is fantastic and has allowed me to eliminate having multiple apps supporting my goal, such as my fitness pal etc. it’s like having a PT in my pocket! More...

I have been having one-to-one personal training sessions with Rob for 8 months now. I can honestly say that I wouldn’t look as in shape and feel as strong physically and mentally as I do now without them. Rob is brilliant at ensuring each session is effective and progressive, as well as enjoyable! He is there to support me 100% when it comes to my training goals, and also provides helpful guidance when it comes to nutrition. I love the fact that he puts all workouts on an app, which means I can view my progress, and use the workouts in my own time. The app also integrates with My Fitness Pal as well as Apple watch, so I can receive regular nagging which is sometimes needed! Thanks Rob! More...

Personal Trainers

When I started with Rob, I had previously been into high exertion exercise, focusing on Kickboxing. From years of doing this sort of exercise, I have gained a few strains and neglected areas. From all my years of enjoying sports, I have never had training that strengthened up all areas of my body as well as this. Rob's training is always varied, he works to balance your body and not leave any areas neglected. My calves, hams, and core are finally getting the conditioning they need to balance out. He has a wealth of training knowledge, but never over complicates matters. I know that with Rob, I can get a proper workout, where my muscles are fully utilized and I have a trainer who will do all the thinking and planning for me. Rob organised some great fitness workouts as part of our pre season training at Macc Parish FC. He is a great motivator, I certainly wouldn’t have completed some of the sets without his encouragement. I struggled with fitness over lockdown and these sessions really helped me get back into it. Rob recently laid on 6* training sessions for our football team (Macc Parish). Rob is an excellent trainer and someone that I would highly recommend. He is organised, an takes care to plan session/s tailored to the group. His calm manner puts you at ease and his encouraging style motivates you through the final push of a tough set. I attended 4 out of the 6 sessions, on the final and final session Rob conducted a heart rate test which showed that my heart rate had come down. 100% Recommend - I started just over 3 weeks ago and Rob has been great at setting me exercise routines that are challenging but not too much to put me off. The app is great for recording your food and after tracking it for a while Rob was able to give me advice on my diet that I hadn't previously considered. Regular calls are good as they have helped to keep me motivated and on track. All in all it has been great at helping me to make lifestyle changes rather than a "diet" that can only be maintained for so long. Thank you. More...

I maintain regular communication with all my clients to ensure they are happy with the programme I've set and ensure that we are constantly making progress.

There is no secret, but consistency is very important.
A small change performed consistently will result in success.

I love helping people to feel more confident and I assisting people to discover what they are capable of.

My approach to training is educational, I wont just tell you what exercise to do. I tell you why we are performing that exercise and methods you can improve performance and perfect technique.

With both online and face to face training options available, I have options to suite any budget and experience level.

The process begins with an initial discussion about what you would like to achieve, you will then be invited to my private studio for a free trial session.

This gives you a great opportunity to discover what RJ-Fitness is all about and experience the high level of coaching you can expect to receive throughout your programme.
