No, due to the nature of our work our services are face to face
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All staff continue to be fully trained and are all compliant in all areas of their work. Spot checks and regular supervisions take place to ensure standards are maintained.
Personal Care
such as getting up and putting to bed, personal hygiene.
Preparing light snacks and meals
General support
such as shopping, housework, running errands etc
Sit in and Live in services
Short and Long term cover
Supporting service users with daily living tasks.
Other Services
From time to time care workers may be asked to undertake some tasks, which may be considered to be specialist. These tasks may be undertaken following appropriate risk assessments and only after specific training. The care worker will be trained in the procedure before undertaking the tasks with the person with care needs by a trainer with a relevant qualification, e.g. occupational therapist, speech therapist, or nurse
Restbite
To cover care for your loved ones if they have recently been discharged from hospital or to cover a period of holiday. Long term or short term care can be arranged.
Overnight Care
Our carers will cover care throughout the night whether you need somebody to stay awake all night or whether its just a peace of mind that somebody is there should they be required.
Specialist Services
From time to time care workers may be asked to undertake some tasks, which may be considered to be specialist. These tasks may be undertaken following appropriate risk assessments and only after specific training. The care worker will be trained in the procedure before undertaking the tasks with the person with care needs by a trainer with a relevant qualification, e.g. occupational therapist, speech therapist, or nurse. Such tasks may include:
• Assisting with artificial feeding
• Changing sterile dressings
• Catheter care – changing bags, monitoring output
• Tracheotomy care
• Assistance with eye or ear drops
• Ileostomy and colostomy care changing of bags
