I first became exposed to the world of photography in 2007, while studying media production in college. After 3 years, I finished my higher education and stepped out into the big wide world where I would gain experience within portrait, fashion, music, dance, product and wedding photography.

I had a COVID-19 wedding, and Rhondell was able to come to the rescue so quickly when most photographers weren’t willing to do it. She made it so easy and comfortable for us. She got all the shots we could dream of and was a joy to have around and made our guests feel comfortable. The pictures were simply amazing and everyone has said so! We got our pictures so quickly. EXTRAORDINARY PHOTOGRAPHY & EDITING SKILLS. OUTSTANDING KIND NATURED CHARACTER!!!!I have worked with Rhondell for 5yrs now and she has done every single picture you see on ISABELLA QUEEN’s social media. To say she is good is an understatement! She is superb and truly excels at her trade. She has a natural gift and besides contorting herself into the weirdest positions to get ‘that picture’ time and time again, her removal of a blue car driving through behind a gate in the first picture below without any trace of that car in the final picture that she laid on a bed of pebbles to take had never ever left me. That was 5yrs ago and now she’s only better, only more dedicated and only more kind.So if you want an eagle eyed photographer who understands every brief she’s given but can also use her initiative and is never content until a picture is literally perfect, then Rhondell is the photographer is for you.And did I mention that she just happens to be the most kind hearted person EVER?!?! What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to document significant and special moments in peoples lives that will live on forever. It's great when my clients get to see moments from their wedding day from their guests perspective that add to the memory they already have.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I thoroughly enjoyed studying photography and when I finished my education it only made sense for me to turn my passion into my career.
Why should our clients choose you?
I really do love my job, and I love to make people feel good about themselves. A lot of clients will say "I'm not photogenic", so I always make it my mission to take photos that remove that negative thought they have of themselves. I'm happy to say I've never had a complaint.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Luckily for me I have a lot of camera lenses. Some of my lenses give the impression that I am quite close up to my clients when in reality I'm at a good distance. I also come with a mask to make my clients feel more at ease.
Wedding Photography
I'm sure you're researching lots of photographers during this part of your wedding planning and you might be asking yourself, "Why should I hire you over the other Photographer?" That's a great question.
The other Photographer and I may have similar styles, but here's why I stand out above others:
I Make Being In Front Of The Camera Comfortable - If there's one thing I've heard A LOT over the years it's that I make my couples feel comfortable and confident while being photographed. All start off saying, "We're bad at taking photos," or "I'm not photogenic" and by the end of the day, they are posing themselves or have forgotten I'm even there!
I've seen it all and experienced it first hand too... I've of course attended countless weddings as a guest, shot my first wedding in 2011, I was a bridesmaid in 2013 and I became a bride in February 2017. Seeing a wedding from all these different angles definitely gives me a bit of an edge when it comes to being a wedding photographer. Lot's of people experience wedding jitters, not about their partner but about all the attention they are going to get for the entire day (God knows I did). From the start of the day until the end I make sure you know you're in safe hands!
A successful wedding starts with knowing what to expect - I will let you know how to realistically plan for your special day by using timelines which include tips for you and your bridal party like: Practicing your first kiss, ensuring bridesmaids/ groomsmen do not rush down the aisle and that there is a good space between them. Also my style is documentary so there's no need to look at me during the day other than when I am posing you for your group and private photos - I want you to be present and in the moment for your special day
I don't mind an awkward couple either, I've got lots of tricks to get you laughing and I promise no one will be able to tell you were nervous when they look back at your newlywed portraits! With me, your wedding experience will be fun, romantic, and best of all, stress-free!
