Your training and trainer (Tim) was great. Thank you for coming out and being so accommodating. I was shown different ways of doing things in Indesign and plenty of shortcuts. Felt comfortable to ask questions and felt supported throughout.What I like the most about Red Rocket is that even after the training you guys are very supportive. Ally, you have been amazing with your replies and support you have provided so far. My one suggestion would be to update the training book slightly, but i understand that isn't always easy as all clients have different needs and you need something that caters to all.Thank you. I've now completed Photoshop for beginners and InDesign for beginners after having no previous experience with either of these programmes. Both training sessions were excellent, I've been left feeling confident with both programmes and training manuals I can refer back to if I need to. Tim's training style is very effective - showing us how each of the tools worked, and then giving us the freedom to play around with the tools ourselves with his guidance if needed.I couldn't wait to get back to the office and start working on some creations. Tim & Ally really know their stuff and I learnt a huge amount in 2 days, their teaching style is also sensitive with just the right amount of humour. Being self-taught on Adobe CC I was apprehensive about undergoing any training with not knowing at exactly what level I was. I need not have worried as Tim & Ally quickly assessed my abilities and instantly adjusted their teaching accordingly. I especially enjoyed learning how to make road maps in illustrator and felt a great sense of achievement when mastering the pen tool. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to progress in Adobe CC or photography and can't wait for my next course with them. More...

Tim delivered a one-day introduction to Photoshop and InDesign for myself and a few colleagues. I found the training to be top-notch and would highly recommend to anyone. Tim is very engaging and easy to chat with, and I really enjoyed his training style of showing us how to do something first and then letting us play around with it ourselves. I no longer feel overwhelmed as soon as I open InDesign! I also really appreciate the training materials we were given to take home- I know I'll be referring to them often! We had InDesign training delivered by Tim last week at our workplace and I have to say it was one of the best IT training I have been on! Tim is very patient and adapts to individual's learning styles and rates. I love the way he broke the training into small sections then got us to have a go after each bit. Tim was absolutely fantastic! I was completely new to the Adobe software's and Tim put me at ease the whole way through. He has such a great amount of knowledge and I felt as though I was being trained by a friend rather than a tutor. As I'm about to start my Graphic Design Degree, Tim showed me some neat tips and tricks on how to do things quick and effectively. I undertook a day of one-to-one bespoke training with Paul on using InDesign, in order to be able to know enough to replicate existing reports produced externally and create a basic in-house resource. I felt the trainer had closely followed the brief and tailored the day to focus on just what I needed to do, and so skipped over some parts (such as navigation) where I had some awareness. After the training, which was tailored around specific document templates, I feel that I could now reproduce our house style in InDesign and develop this new skills further. More...

I attended the Marketing materials Course in January 2018. I have never used Photoshop or InDesign before.
I would highly recommend it to any beginners wanting to learn to use these programmes for any reason, not just marketing.
The course is at a steady pace, with plenty of opportunity to try everything out, have a play, make mistakes and get someone to point out how to correct it.
Tim and Ally are great, very knowledgeable, with practical ideas and helpful tips.

Tim is an excellent tutor. He combines knowledge, experience and patience. I benefitted from a one day bespoke course on Adobe Photoshop: it helped untangle the little knowledge I had imperfectly gained and showed the immense possibilities that Photoshop offers. There was time to gain some practical experience including the coming problems that can occur (e.g. when settings have not been reset to default position). There are particular projects that I am keen to take forward and Tim tailored the training to take account of this. Watching Tim demonstrate the use of Photoshop was enlightening. Besides the big building blocks there were a myriad of hints and tips that will help enormously. Tim governed the ground at a good pace: I didn’t feel pressured to move on, and we covered a lot of territory.
