Hi, At Reckyy Visuals, I film and edit for upcoming Artists, Businesses and Brands. I am a self-taught editor, I currently do freelance editing work for Artists, individuals & small businesses. I am always developing my skills within this field and use this my portfolio to showcase the work I create, I aim to continue expanding as a person and a brand hopefully landing larger jobs and gaining more experience in future!

What do you love most about your job?
I've studied Media Production from a young age and have been very interested in bettering myself within the field learning the ins and outs of all the equipment down to organising cast and crew. It's challenging and not every day is the same but, each time I go out on a job I come back with more knowledge then I had before and I do love that a lot. The main reason I enjoy my job so much though is because I am a people person and love seeing, meeting and interacting with new people & discovering new things as I believe you can learn something from everyone.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business because firstly it is extremely difficult to get into the media sector without having a large portfolio of work or knowing the right people and almost impossible to get a regular job in media without having experience working for an actual company so, I used my initiative and decided to take myslef out there and gain experience and make links myself building clients along the way. I do love meeting new people and conversing, understanding and finding out more about what my clients actually want not just doing it for money purposes which sounds a bit cliche but is true. A lot of the feedback I do get when I work with people is that I take time to actually understand and get a solid idea of what my clients want before I begin and that's the structure I built my business around.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me because I have an exceptional work ethic and give my jobs all of my focus. I take time to understand and paint an image in my head on what my clients are actually asking me for rather than rushing it and giving half-hearted work back. I see filming & editing as art and I am a perfectionist so everything has to be fluid and well pieced together when I give the finished piece back to my clients. Finally, I am organised, have good timekeeping skills and am great to work with as I consider myself a people person and in my head manners do go a long way but, is also hard to come across genuinely nice pleasurable people to make you feel comfortable when working with them, I feel like that's where I am different!
