My name is Kelly and I have many years experience as a Carer and Registered Nurse in both the NHS and private sector. After years of successfully managing Nursing Homes I decided to embark on my own care at home business as an outcome of attempting to seek good care for my own mother in law which I found either non - existent or typically misleading.

We used Raphael Care for my Nan who needed some home help after returning from hospital. Knowing it was just one individual that was coming in and out of my Nans home made us feel very at ease I would highly recommend everyone to use this company rather than putting their loved ones in a home.

What do you love most about your job?
Making a difference, hence I became a Nurse and developed Raphael Care.
Nursing and Care is not just a job its a vocation!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My Mother-in law required care upon returning from a lengthy stay in hospital and despite contacting several care companies who promised they would visit at the same time each day and by the same carer the reality was very different. On one occasion there was not visit at all.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a small family run company, not a money making franchise. We created Raphael Care because we truly care and know what good care looks like.

We can certainly give advice and have great knowledge and understanding in relation to DST - older adults assessments - CCG funding and continuing health care.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We continue to monitor and adjust our practice where necessary and always carry masks if this is our clients preference.
