We were recommended Chris at QL Discos by our incredible wedding planner, Amy Thorne of Amaranthyne Weddings, and what a brilliant recommendation it was! Chris was so easy going when we were coordinating by email with our requests. And even though my husband and I were emailing him separately with secret music requests for each other (haha!) he kept all under wraps and delivered perfectly on the day!! He was conscientious when setting up, and nothing phased him at all, even when our guests were distracted by our fire pit and s’mores outside the marquee, his music kept everyone in a joyful mood and he waited for us to come back before playing more of our favourite songs. We requested to have the music at a level where people could still hear each other when talking, but also dance, and he absolutely nailed it! No ringing in the ears afterwards!! Chris from QL Discos was the DJ and kids entertainer for my kids double birthday party yesterday, and he did a fabulous job! Arrived in plenty of time to set up and start the party at the right time, friendly and easygoing fellow that was happy to take requests from the kids and got everyone up and dancing and playing party games. We were a bit worried about how the disco would work with so many children varying from the age of 3 to 11, but he managed to find tunes and games to bring everyone together. Thanks Chris! More...

We have used Chris twice now for each of our Daughters birthday parties and would highly recommend him. Once the party starts he takes over and keeps the kids entertained for the full 2 hours; playing games and keeping the kids dancing. Punctual and reasonable priced plus a nice, friendly chap! More...

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The best way to keep a dance floor busy all night is to stick to what music genre is working at a given time and knowing when to change if people start to drift off. It's important to play guests' music requests to get everyone involved in the party.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
To play big hitting, well known songs that are familiar to everyone. A degree of interaction with the audience without being on the mic all night long.
What do you love most about your job?
It is very satisfying to give a client a great party on their special day.
Why should our clients choose you?
We believe in giving our clients a bespoke service tailoring the music and entertainment to their requirements. We offer a free consultation in advance if the client wishes to meet with us to discuss their entertainment plans in more detail. All bookings are confirmed in writing for peace of mind. We have a team of DJs so incase of illness we won't be letting anyone down. We also have spare equipment incase of breakdown.
