Q&As

We are passionate about providing a quality, bespoke service suited to the person receiving care. We're very recovery-focused, even in the most extreme of situations, and heave helped people to live longer, to live better and to get more out of life. This is what we love most about our job!

Our CEO is an ex-CQC Manager who wanted to meet the gaps in care by creating a company that genuinely cares as well as performs quality audits. So, ProLibertas was born. The company name means 'freedom' in Latin, and this is how the business developed, by trying to help people find their own freedom from their care needs.

We are a working example of how a care company should operate; we are compassionate about needs, empathic about challenges faced and sensitive to supporting people through some of their toughest times. We also care about the people who've been supporting the people they love and now need help. Please contact us for a quote specific to your needs.

As a care business we would normally provide support in person, so we certainly can come to your home and help. If you just need a listening ear, then of course, we can listen. We do support some people who we have daily chats with, just to touch base. It depends what is decided at assessment as to your needs, we work with you on this. We're a CQC regulated care business, with a rating of 'good'; so we always follow procedures in relation to any outbreak of flu, an epidemic or a pandemic. Our staff are trained to a high level, in fact we worked throughout the Covid-19 epidemic, going into people's homes, with very little infection risks because our staff know how to protect themselves and the people they care for from infections.

We have very experienced and qualified support staff who will come to your home and provide a person-centred wake-night sitting service for you, or the person you care for, during times where palliative care is necessary.

We are a CQC regulated company, meaning we can provide personal care, including medication management, and our support staff know how to follow care plans.

We follow the seven principles of care, which include choice, dignity, independence, partnership, privacy, respect, rights, safety, equality, inclusion and confidentiality.

Our aim is to provide quality support and to help you, or the person you are caring for, to live independently at home for as long as it is safe to do so.

We are a CQC regulated highly skilled care provider.
We have support staff who are specialist trained to be able to provide empathic, person-centred quality support for anyone who is suffering from a terminal illness. When people are at the end of life, we generally find they need support and care in four main areas, these being:
1. Support with practical things they feel they need to deal with
2. Support with their mental & emotional needs as they adjust to end of life realities
3. Support and care of their physical needs
4. Spiritual support

Our support staff can help someone who needs to recognise they are at end of life, as this in itself is a difficult thing to accept. Our support staff will always communicate sensitively with the person being cared for and their family, involving everyone in decision making whilst support is being delivered. We will create, where needed, an individual care plan that includes adequate nutrition and hydration.

We’re also aware of the family needs around the person who is at end of life, especially their own practical needs and emotional distress. Our support staff are very skilled in helping people come to terms with what they are going through and areas they want to consider as vital before their life ends.
