I've tried a few tutors in my home town Newark but come all that way for lessons with Kom because her advice is clear to understand, she avoids long winded analogies and I actually enjoy the lessons whilst I feel I am also improving.

This is an amazing place, I love it a lot. It can help you progress in your musical skills extremely quickly. I am 13 and I have been playing the guitar for about 3 and a half months and I am already playing some pretty hard stuff.
They also listen to what you want to do not just exams, you can pretty much choose what ever you want to do(apart from things to help you, but its still fun!)

In my opinion, progress music academy is a great place to learn. It has a very friendly feel as soon as you walk through the door.
Steve Smith (guitar tutor) not only has an unfathomable amount of talent as a guitarist, but he is also one of the most humble people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. His teaching style is amazing and a great deal of benefit to beginners right up to advanced players!
You will not be let down by anyone in progress music academy as all of the tutors are indeed masters of their instruments and very approachable people.
I have seen a vast improvement in my playing in the short time I have spent under Steve's instruction and owe him a great deal of thanks for it!
