This is the second time I have used Prestige whereby they have delivered my order late. An order that was for a special occasion and the date was missed again. The last time I gave them the benefit of the doubt, I did complain that they used Royal Mail on days that they were striking so of course the delivery was never going to get there on time. However on this occasion they have let me down once again and their response is: It is important to note that by making a purchase from Prestige Gifting, you are not entering into a contract that guarantees a specific delivery time frame. During peak periods, we reserve the right to extend delivery times as necessary. In the event that we miss the specified delivery date during peak periods but still fulfil the order, you will not be entitled to a full refund. Any remedy provided will be at our discretion. I would have given one star, but the flowers were nice when they did eventually turn up a day late to an empty venue where the wedding reception had been. I selected the 16th December as the delivery date for a friends wedding reception I couldn’t attend; with a confirmation email it would arrive on that date. The next notification I received was at 10pm on 16th (night of the wedding reception) saying they would be delivered the next day… after everyone had travelled home. I had to complete a 2 hr round trip to collect the flowers and wine (thankfully the venue held onto them and no-one stole anything), and pay another £20 to get them delivered to the bride and grooms home address the day after their wedding. When I raised with thier customer service team, to give them a chance to correct the mistake, the response was effectively, “tough luck; blame the courier, we don’t care”; which certainly rubbed salt in the wound. I was already feeling bad that I couldn’t attend the wedding, so to not have them receive anything from me on the day made me feel awful (not to mention the cost and time to then go and collect them). My advice would be, if you have flowers you need for a wedding, anniversary, birthday or any other time-critical event, steer well-clear - they cannot deliver on the day they say they will, and they don’t care what impact in time, cost or embarrassment that causes. The flowers arrived dead, they didn't open just rotted. The company said there's nothing they can do as it's been over three days. The replys from Natasha.R are painful, just repeating copy and paste answers, she wouldn't actually respond to my questions just kept on quoting the "policy" so customer satisfaction isn't their biggest priority otherwise they would have re sent the flowers. Taking money from people seems to be their biggest priority. So you have to guess wether the flowers you've purchased will open or not within three days or they get away with sending you sticks for £30. Absolutely useless. Went to the pumpkin flower arranging session today at Dean Clough and it was fantastic. The girls, Jade and Molly, were friendly and chatty and made everyone feel welcome. Everything was set out and we were all given a good sized pumpkin and a big bunch of beautiful mixed flowers and foliage, with more if we needed it. I have never ordered flowers before, on Friday 29 sep orders flowers for next day delivery, I only see the this lady once a week on a Tuesday and wanted to say thankyou. I even paid extra for med bunch. Well the flowers never arrived till Monday night, I was happy still they arrived as they looked so beautiful it wasn't a big deal. Well I went and had a look at the flowers. I cried they are discusting I could have picked better from a random garden. I'm so disappointed and I'm insulted. Please don't use this company. I ordered flowers as a gift, with next day delivery. The flowers cost £55.49 and the shipping £5.99 When it became evident they would not arrive next day, I asked them to cancel and refund. This was not done. They delivered a box of dead and dying flowers a day later. It was embarrassing and the recipient didn’t want to tell me how bad they were. I’ve not been to the shop in Dean Clough but recently used their service to send birthday flowers to a dear friend, my sister in law and my step mother in law and I was awe struck at the efficiency and quality of the service and the flowers ! I was a bit unsure as the reviews on trust pilot were mixed but based on my experience, Prestige Flowers were amazing. They used Royal Mail to deliver flowers to these three ladies all in different parts of the country all on a Sunday ( I had just ordered the day before). I was updated promptly when each of them had received their flowers. In the pictures they sent me the flowers were full and the hampers looked lovely. I could not recommend this shop enough - it is COMPLETELY different to Prestige Flowers online flower delivery! I asked for a hatbox my little sister to celebrate her A-Level results and the florists Jade & Jodi went above and beyond. The hatbox is incredible and was £25! Absolute joke, Purchased some flowers a card, balloon and some chocolate. And would you believe it, it never came! No surprise really when these people are using Royal Mail, not even special delivery so I cant find out where my order actually is. . They attempted delivery at 4pm on Mothers Day! Just received my "large" bouquet of flowers via Royal Mail and am utterly disappointed. To say I have paid an extra £10 to upgrade to large bunch, I can buy a much larger bunch for £10-£15 in the local supermarket. I paid £36 for these I specifically chose to order from Cancer Research UK as 25% of my order is donated to yourselves. This pathetic bouquet of flowers are meant to be for a cancer patient currently going through the toughest time of her life. I am embarrassed to present these to her!
