From my first phone call enquiring about 24 live in care for my Uncle & Aunt I was impressed by Prestbury Care’s knowledge & understanding. We met with Chloe the Quality Manager to discuss my relatives needs, so that they could match the Carer’s that best met their needs. We also met with Daniel the Registered Manager, together with the carers who spent time with us. The Care has now been in place for three weeks, with the Carers doing a week on week off. They look after my relatives in a very professional, kind, compassionate, and reassuring manner not only to my Aunt & Uncle but to us as a family.
The support from the management team at Prestbury Care Providers Ltd has been second to none. I have absolutely no hesitation at recommending their wonderful company.

Services

Live-in Care is often the best option for those who would like the comfort of having someone to hand 24/7. It is a more comforting alternative to residential care by allowing you or your loved one to stay in their much-loved home whilst receiving the correct level of care.

Our live-in carers are hand-selected by us and are available to meet before any care is started. This is important to us as you need to get on well with your new live-in carer. After all, they will be living with you. Each client will have 2 or 3 dedicated live-in carers who will each spend a week or two at a time with you and provides continuity in live-in carers.

Dependant on your level of needs, Live-in care can also be supported by visiting domiciliary care to ensure you have everything you need when you need it.

Night time can often be a period of loneliness, leaving you or your loved one feeling vulnerable. We offer overnight support in the following ways:

Your carer is awake for the duration of your visit and will be there to help you into bed and assist you when you wake up. During the period you are asleep your carer will complete practical tasks of your choosing such as ironing, washing or cleaning.

Your carer will be there to help you into bed at night. Once you have settled your carer will then go to sleep and will wake ready to assist you in the morning. This is a cost-effective option recommended for people who have low needs and would like the security of company overnight.

Whether it be several visits per day to support your health and well-being, a daily security check or simply a weekly visit to help maintain your home, you can be sure we will tailor your visits to your needs.

This service could include:

- Assistance with personal care
- Meal preparation
- Support with medication and prescription collection
- Washing and ironing
- Cleaning
- Rehabilitation from hospital
- General home maintenance

Our carers are selected for their empathy and are trained specifically to support people physically and emotionally when they are in the end stages of their life. Our carers will provide tender loving care with each aspect of your support so you or your loved one are able to pass away in comfort and with dignity.

We believe palliative care means not only supporting the person under our care, but also supporting the people they hold dearest to them. Wherever possible we will provide practical support to help relieve the stress and grief of a very difficult time.

Companionship Care is provided in a similar way to visiting care however, your visit will typically be longer in duration. This type of service is usually focused on preventing isolation and encouraging social inclusion.

If you are a full time carer for a family member or friend, this service can often provide you with a welcome break whilst giving you the peace of mind that your loved one is not on their own.

This service could include:
- Assistance with weekly shopping
- Support attending a social club or event
- A longer home visit enabling you to enjoy your hobbies and interests
