If you’re a startup creating an app that is a new idea, we try and encourage people to make smaller investment initially, and use the budget to learn as much as they can. This helps you work out if the idea is worth further investment.

As an example. An app idea can usually be prototyped and tested for around £5K-£8K. After that, you can take a simple version to market. This usually costs an additional £15K-£80K, depending on size and complexity.
