After 19 years of working in education as a teacher, then a Head Teacher, and following the birth of my second son, I decided to embark on a new career path following my passion for gardening and so in May 2021, 'Plant Dreams' was established.

My garden was overgrown in places and not well looked after. Angela took great care and made the front and back gardens come alive again. My roses had hundreds of blooms after being pruned and the beds were beautifully cut from the lawn. I can see all the plants in the beds now and they all look very healthy. What do you love most about your job?
Creating outdoor spaces that people can relax in and enjoy. There’s nothing I love more than transforming overgrown gardens and seeing the owners reaction when its finished!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been a teacher for nearly twenty years and for the past ten years a Head Teacher. Gardening for me was always a way to destress and unwind. I then became ill last year and gardening then became my therapy. That's when I knew that it was time to turn my hobby into my dream job.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am really passionate about what I do and always work hard to make sure gardens are transformed and maintained to the highest standard. I’m currently studying a Gardening and Landscape Design Business Diploma which is enabling me to develop my expertise.

Yes, I can provide planting and garden styling services remotely using photographs and measurements of the garden provided by the client.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I always maintain a 2 metre distance when talking to clients in an outdoor space. If I know am going to be going into a client's house I will ask if the client would like me to wear a mask. If I have any Covid-19 symptoms I will take a lateral flow test before arriving on-site.
Garden Maintenance
You may have a garden that has become overgrown and unmanageable. I provide gardening services which restore the look and feel of your garden which may include removing existing plants and shrubs and introducing new plants.
Alternatively I also provide a regular garden maintenance service if you love your garden as it is and just require help with its regular upkeep.
Planting Plans (on-site or remote)
The key element to any garden is the planting and this can be tricky to get right. Having to consider the aspect of your garden, the type of soil you have and then matching this with the plants you really like can be daunting.
I offer a planting plan and provide full lists of plants taking into consideration your likes and dislikes when it comes to colour, shape and size. If you have a limited knowledge of plants that's ok as just knowing your favourite colours and garden style enables me to make plant selections. Plants can also be sourced and supplied.
Garden Styling (on-site or remote)
Gardens come in all shapes and sizes and you may just need a little help with styling your outdoor space. I can advise on how to style your garden using decorative accessories, seating, lighting, pots, containers and sculptures. These can also be sourced and supplied.
