Had a leak in the loft caused by a UPVC fascia/soffit/guttering duo not cutting an overflow pipe. It was pushed into the loft and became detached from the tank. When the ceiling, which partially collapsed, was dry, I contacted Plansons (Jay) who were very quick to respond. The bedroom ceiling was re-plaster boarded then plastered as soon as was possible and Jay even worked on a Sunday. A superb finished standard and I would definitely recommend this company. More...

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
As long as the structure is sound there should be no problem however, you may need to replace the roof.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Firstly ensure the roof is in good order. Cut out any new openings for doors, windows & vents, brick up any unwanted openings. Lay DPM then insolation down, CLS Stud-work first fix & sheet floor, install doors and windows, first fix electric’s install kingspan insulation & fit plasterboard, skim boardwork. Second fix woodwork. Second fix electric’s.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I guess I know what I’m good at and that’s why I stick to it. Being the boss is challenging and it’s very testing at times however, my best strength is my drive & high standards. I love it when it all comes together!

No we are a hands on building company we are professional in all areas from the group up.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We haven’t made many changes we just follow the government guidelines & stay at a safe distance. Portaloos are a must as you can’t use customers toilets and we bring our own drinks however, some customers still offer drinks As long as it’s multipack soft drinks it’s not much of a problem as we have hand sanitisers and masks if required.
