Thanks to Piglet's Kitchen, we were able to have a most enjoyable celebration on our Diamond Wedding Anniversary in September this year.
In advance we chose from a very varied menu and then left everything to Piglet's Kitchen which at our age, was a blessing - no hassle or stress!
We had an excellent cold buffet done to perfection, starting with our old favourite prawn cocktail.
Having used Piglet's Kitchen before, we knew we wouldn't be let down and would certainly highly recommend them.

Sarah has catered for our family a number of times now and did a farewell dinner for my son and his wife returning to New Zealand. Whilst there were only 6 of us, Sarah's attention to detail was faultless. As usual, the meal and the canapes beforehand was absolutely delicious. My son said it was the best prawn cocktail he had ever tasted! We would never hesitate to use Sarah for special occasions and I cannot recommend her highly enough. More...

What a relief I had hired Piglet’s Kitchen to celebrate my Birthday on 18th Feb. the day of the big storm Eunice. No way would we have ventured out but Piglet’s Kitchen turned up on time, and was very efficient.
We were able to have a most enjoyable lunch, consisting of a perfect prawn cocktail, excellent venison steaks plus all the trimmings, and a gorgeous chocolate/brandy slice with fresh berries and cream, in the cosy surroundings of our own home.
Can certainly recommend Piglet’s Kitchen.

An excellent experience in all respects. The food produced was delicious, a coronation chicken with accompanying rice salad and a strawberry and raspberry meringue roulade for a birthday lunch. The seasoning and sweetness for the chicken and coulis was just right, so to the price of the dishes made! I have no hesitation in recommending and using Piglet’s Kitchen again in the future. More...

Sarah has provided food for us on a couple of occasion.
First was excellent canapes at home for a drinks party with neighbours & friends
& latterly a 3 course dinner at home for 8 - the food was fantastic, & Sarah catered for 2 of our guests who were vegetarian . we had wonderful tomato tatin, then a venison & beef with apricots casserole with dauphinoise potatoes & veg (vegetarian option was a lentil & veg moussaka), then delicious baked lemon cheesecake & a chocolate mousse cake to finish.
sarah served the food for us too. The whole evening was fantastic. Highly recommend Piglet's kitchen.

Having a relaxed luncheon in a lovely country setting is, in itself, wonderful. What’s your signature dish?
Everyone seems to be asking for my Venison and Beef with Port & Apricots, Dauphinoise Potatoes, Glazed Carrots and Trimmed Green Beans and my favourite dessert seems to be Orange Caramel Creams (Flan de Naranja) and Baked Lemon Cheesecake with Berry Compote.
In the autumn/winter months I specialise in "Game" - pheasant, partridge, venison with fish during the summer months on the BBQ.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I like to discuss my clients requirements on a one to one basis so that I can get a feel for the type of food my clients like or don't like, also if there are any allergens to be concerned about. Then I can provide a special menu to suit or provide my list of menus ie Dinner/Buffet/Lunch.
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative and seeing a delighted, happy and pleased client! I love the personal touch!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Because I like working for myself - having both the pressure and satisfaction if my clients are happy!
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I treat ALL my clients as individuals, everybody is different in their tastes and their requirements and I hope I can meet ALL their expectations!
