We have arranged to meet to fully assess ny needs

I have given 5 stars as the registered manager, Terri McKenzie has been very involved in assessing my dad’s care needs and planning a suitable care package for him. The carers have been excellent and met all my dad’s needs. I have been able to contact Terri directly if we have any questions and she involved me in dad’s review. Dad is very happy with the twice daily care he is receiving. I would highly recommend this organisation. More...

Home & Domiciliary Care

The very prompt initial and positive response to our request for short-term assistance to help my husband shower and get dressed meant that he could quickly be discharged from hospital following his surgery. The package we agreed was perfectly suited to our needs with the wonderful carers coming at the same time each day. The support provided was excellent, professional and caring. We are in no doubt that it played a big part in my husband's recovery. We would not hesitate to use Terri and her team again should the need arise in the future. More...

Terri worked to set up and now provide a safe and personal service for my grandmother on a daily basis to keep on top of her personal care. The company keeps me well informed about changes and if there are issues. I am generally very happy with the level of care she receives. More...

I had a cancer operation at the end of August last year My Daughter lives in the Highlands of Scotland and tried to find some short term help
My wife is sight impaired and I have been doing cooking etc
I also have been doing shopping and all the driving
Per Cura organised support for an initial period of four weeks
2 hours for 2 days and less for 5 days

The support was a great help to me and my wife and this was an introduction to care and we will certainly use them in the future

I am nearly 85 and my wife 84 in September

The help supplied was all females who treated us with considerate help and never let us down with time keeping and complete honesty

Since our first meeting,I have been impressed by the professionalism and care shown by Terri and her team.
They have taken trouble and time to befriend Gill and understamd her needs and her interests.
The team have ensured Gill's safety in her own home and instigated special devices to protect her such as new fire alarms and moving harmful items out of the way.
Gill accepted help reluctantly at first but the twice daily visits by friendly and supportive staff made a real difference to Gill and removed a huge amount of anxiety from me and the other friends who were trying to cope with Gill's dementia. They are a brilliant team!!

Q&As

Making a difference to people's lives. With the right support, clients achieve a great quality of life even if they have health or mobility challenges.

Being able to deliver an exceptional level home care is really important to me.

I have been working in health and social care since 2009, ranging from residential to clinically complex care. Working in care gives me the satisfaction of knowing my hard work and dedication is helping people live their life their way - whatever challenges they may face.

Our services are delivered to people in their own homes. We can also accompany and support them out and about in the community.

We strictly adhere to all the latest safety guidance.

Services

Assistance with everyday tasks can make such a difference to quality of life. A little help - from a few hours per week right up to 24 hour or live-in support can help you to feel safe and happy in your own home.

Our dedicated personal carers can assist you with the most personal and often intimate daily tasks, applying utmost discretion, sensitivity and respect to help maintain your dignity and independence.

Our specialist carers have specific training and experience to understand the complex needs and differing areas of learning disability. PerCurra opens to doors to a more vibrant social life that helps build self-confidence and independence.

PerCurra's Hospital to Home Support can help ease this return home in a number of ways. From carrying out the daily practicalities of running a home to simply being there as a means of social or emotional support during those first few days or weeks. The support we provide depends on your individual needs. We can contact you either at home or while in hospital to arrange the support required.

We understand the benefits that Respite Care offers. Caring for a relative or friend can often be tiring and stressful. The responsibility can also have an impact your own health and wellbeing. Let one of our friendly, trained staff take over the responsibilities for a while - we will make sure things are done just as you would like.

We offer a live-in homecare service aimed at elderly people requiring 24 hour, low-level support. It’s a cost-effective alternative to residential care and offers flexibility to clients and their families. Being in their own home during the COVID situation allows clients to have increased contact with family members and friends (within guidelines of course).

Having a break from the normal routine can be a real tonic but trying to find suitable accommodation and travel can be daunting, especially if you have very specific needs. If you are a PerCurra client we can take the headache out of holiday booking. You tell us where you want to go and we will find you accommodation that meets your needs and the best way to get you there. If you need a companion then one of our trained staff can come along with you and help you get the most out of your holiday.
