This is a really good bike shop. I wish I lived nearer to it! Really nice, seemingly knowledgeable staff, some great gear for sale and a good workshop.

Popped in to get a nut which had fallen of my rattling old mudguard. Staff member (with the big beard) was friendly and super helpful, even put it on for me. :-)

A while back, I purchased a bike as a gift. Because I was currently working out of country, all this had to be done long-distance. Pearson Performances--and David, in particular--were lovely and incredibly helpful. I could not have asked for a better service. Thank you! The bike was incredibly well received, and he continues to find great joy in it. More...

Guy, I wanted to thank you and your team for the advice, time and flexibility given in bringing together my Kinesis 4S Disc 'Winter' build. I've only done a few km but it rides well and the position feels good. I really appreciated the service (far outweighs any savings to be had online) and am delighted with the finished bike. I look forward to many more commuting and training km in the years to come. More...

With an increasing amount of cycle shops who need to stay competitive it's difficult finding a shop with highly skilled mechanics and fair prices. I found one in this shop. They have helped out keeping my aeroad working like clockwork and have been able to fine tune my shifting to a level other shops were not able to, highly recommend! More...

Oh I can't recommend Pearson Cycles enough. I booked in for a Precision bike fit today with Nas. Which I nearly cancelled as being a total beginner, I felt a bit silly going in to such a experienced bike shop. Well I am totally glad I didn't, from the moment I walked through the door their team at Pearson's made me feel totally at ease. They took me through a process which now makes a total beginner feel like I now know a lot about cycling. All aspects from how I sit on the bike to my shoes and clothing were covered, but most importantly I now have the exact measurements I need to set up any bike I ever own. At no point did I ever feel silly about asking my thousand questions and nor did I ever feel sold to. I also feel after today I could contact Pearson's at any time or pop in if I ever need help or advice. Nas said today "we just want to help as many people who would like to cycle get out on a bike" and I think that is why Pearsons is the oldest bike shop in the world, they are just great. More...

Pearson Cycles is a shop that is needed on every high street. The staff are incredibly knowledgable, highly trained & so passionate about cycling. The personal service you receive is second to none (especially when it comes to bike fits) & nothing is too much for them. For example; If what you require isn’t in stock they’ll order it in for you. My husband thoroughly enjoys his trips to Pearson’s, they are one of the only shops he will purchase a bike from & he often just pops in for a chat should he be passing. The company has excellent values & does an awful lot of charity work, which is highly commendable.I needed proper lights fitted to my wheelchair for the dark winter evenings. The lads in the shop were so helpful & recommended certain brands, suggested optimum positions for the lights to be fitted, they charged the lights up & fitted them for me free of charge so I could have a safe journey home.Thank you, for you loyal service. Great personalsied service from cyclists who know their stuff. Friendly and expert. If you buy online you might save a few quid in the short term perhaps, but at this shop cycling is more about sharing experience. Pearson is a LBS with a passion for quality delivered by professional and enthusiastic staff. I've learnt a good deal from Guy and his team. You won't get the same education or service from an online retailer. More...

This is not your everyday bike shop. Yesterday my daughter asked for some help on a recently purshased bike online. A replacement, insurance paid and organized. The people at Pearson's could have easily turned her away but they didn't. Instead she was listened to, advised and helped with a quick repair..... all of it free. All of it dispite plenty of paying customers around. My next bike, hopefully not a replacement of a stolen one, will definitely be from this shop! More...

Pearson SHEEN provide first and foremost a warm and welcoming customer service (from professional/ experienced road cyclist, regular commuters and complete novices without the elitist language). The store offers well considered quality products with great design style and ethos, with comprehensive supportive Workshop, Bike fitting, physical health clinics, supported Rides and great coffee. They carry a modest range of own and other selected premium brands covering all your cycling needs for different disciplines for all seasons.Whilst not the cheapest the Pearson own brand has a great heritage offering a quintessential British Road cycling style, (less of the brash over sponsored European fashions), if you are looking for a brand to feel apart of then Pearson is a good place to start rather than simply being just another customer. I have been a customer of Pearson's since I moved to London 2 years ago from the states. I've acquired four bikes through their shop since then, one as a complete build (Pearson Objects in Motion), a Storck that was custom painted and built up in their shop, and the others shipped to them from the states as framesets and completed by Pearson. I've also purchased 2 Frog bikes for my daughters. Guy and Will are a great source of information and expertise, and are always there to help. They are staffed by great mechanics and sales people who are friendly and professional, and the shop has a very inclusive atmosphere. I would recommend them for both serious cyclists and for those just getting started! More...

I cannot rate this place highly enough. Not only is it great for little bits you need, it also stocks a lot of the higher end products that most high street bike shops don't stock. Also, the big one of their workshop which is absolutely topnotch - any work they do is not only faultless, the turnaround is super quick. If you want to avoid the shops which just sit with your bike for a week, go to this place and they'll do a brilliant job quickly. More...

This Christmas i received a gift purchased from Pearson Cycle: a wahoo elemnt bundle. I asked them if i could exchange it for the smaller and cheaper elemnt bolt bundle and they immediately agreed.
After about 20 days, the time the italian mail service took to deliver the package from Italy to UK, Pearson Cycle received it. Within 2 days, they shipped the new item back to me, credited the difference on the purchaser's credit card and the following day, today, i received the package. This is as kind and as exemplary as it gets. Never experienced such a professional commercial transaction on the web before and i do dozens of them each year. I thank and enthusiastically recommend them.
Best,
Simone
