I've been going to this gym for about a year now and I don't think it's too bad. The staff are quite friendly, people may of had a bad experience but not me my wife or anyone I know. The best time to visit is between 11:00 - 15:00 anytime after that and at weekends gets a bit manic. They have a lot of cardio equipment and a decent sized warm up/excercise area downstairs with mats, free weights and various other equipment.Upstairs has a lot of dumbells they have a whole new rack + the old ones, a wide range of machine apparatus to work every muscle group needed but they are missing a few different types (I am comparing that will another LA Fitness gyms I went to)It can get a bit cramped up there at peak times otherwise It's ok.There is a spin (cycling) studio on the top floor and next to that a warm up/excercise area with mats. The swimming pool is on the ground floor next to the cardio area and is of a decent size. The so called 'jacuzzi' is actually in the pool which kind of defeats the object of a jacuzzi Its supposed to be nice and warm not pool temperature although the jets are strong. The Sauna is ok nothing special just your average wooden slatted sauna which can fit 6 people comfortably.Steam room is pretty old and haggered looking and definately ineed of a makeover but it still does the trick.Changing rooms are poorly ventillated and lockers are large, showers are nice and hot tho some with flappy heads...alas.The water fountain is next to cardio area and is cold!I have been to many La Fitness gyms in London and I can honestly say that the cardio and free weight section here is the best. If It's good spa facilites your after then Finchley is the great especially their jacuzzi!Don't be put off by other reviews try it out and see what you think. More...

I signed up for a three day free trial last night, and promptly had an email voucher by the time I woke up this morning. I had a missed call during work, so I phoned back on my lunch break, and they were very friendly. Visited after work today, and tried out a session. The cardio was pretty empty, and the pool was free - but weights was *very* busy. Managed to get some time on the squat rack, and decided to come back tomorrow. Apparently I visited during peak time.Seemed very clean to my eyes though, very friendly atmosphere, no pressure to join, and helpful staff. So it seems stuff might have changed since most of these reviews were written.I have another two days free, so I'll comment further if I change my mind! More...

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
With understanding, empathy, connection and dedication.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Being aware, persistent and keeping motivated. Roma wasn't build in a day. The most important is be aware of the problem, to get determinate and start. Keep motivated is a key too, but for that, exist professionals as myself who can keep the person on track. And the very most important is never give up. See the big picture and understand is worth it to change habits and try harder to be the best version of yourself.
What do you love most about your job?
I love working with people, I am very friendly and I enjoy helping my clients to feel better. Also I love the connection we end up creating, I like the interaction and teach them better habits. Is a work were both has to participate , with a WIN-WIN result.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My own experience. I had eating disorders for many many years, I wasn't happy with my shape and I wasn't as happy as I am now. So I understand most of the people who can to me for help 100%.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I am very passional, and I really want to help people. I do not do this job for money, I do because is what I like to do. I t makes me happy and I transmit my happiness to people I work with and that is one of the most important things you need to get any achievement.
