Whilst I may have been sceptical, my wife, who Paul saw for smoking sessation, was fully convinced this was the answer, having decided she wanted to quit smoking. The single session took around 1:40 hrs and on her exit from the session she totally floored me with " I dont think its worked, I could do with a cigarette." Fortunately we had disposed of the cancer sticks before going into the session. She survived the first evening even though it was still on her mind. We had dinner, later went to bed with her still convinced it hadnt worked. The following morning it was as though she had never smoked, and it has been that way ever since. We are now 4 months down the line and she has no thoughts of smoking and IS a non smoker. Without doubt the best money we have ever spent. No more coughing, no more wheezing.... absolutely brilliant. Thanks Paul. Update: 1 year on and my wife is still a non smoker. Brilliant. Many Thanks Update: March 2023 - it must be at least 3 and a half years since my wife was helped by Paul to give up smoking. The budget just reminded me of the financial saving of over £3000 per year. More importantly has been the improvement in sense of smell and lung function. No more coughing and wheezing. I was amazed at how easily I gave up smoking after one session of hypnotherapy. I've smoked since teenage years, giving up many times. However I couldn't stay stopped. Stress, boredom and being around other smokers would set me off again. It felt like a constant battle to not give in to temptation when I had stopped: and I was desperate to quit when I was smoking. At the age of 50 I could no longer kid myself that it wasn't doing my health damage. With one session from Paul, all desire to smoke has completely gone, even when around others smoking or under stress. All with no withdrawal symptoms. That was nearly 7 months ago. What can I say other than thank you Paul. I battled with addiction and came out of the other side, but in my sobriety couldn't come to terms with my anxiety and low self worth never feeling good enough and crippling issues with body image preventing me from leaving the house. Two sessions with Paul and use of the tools he gave me later and I was making huge steps and felt the load lift. Over six months on and I'm going into my second year of university after returning to study, and publicly speaking promoting recovery... something I'd have never done in a million years. I visited Paul due to having what I thought was just anxiety with driving, but it turned out to be a phobia. I am a student nurse and rely heavily on being able to drive to university 40minutes away, as well as driving to placements up to 90minutes away. Before visiting Paul I wouldn't let anyone in my car, I had to be alone. The car had to be completely silent with no distractions and I dont think I actually took a breath during my journeys, that's how stressful it was. I would sweat, feel sick...all the usual panic symptoms. Tunnels and lorries were particularly bad triggers for me. Paul instantly put me at ease and explained every aspect of what was going to happen during my appointment. I had preconceived ideas of what it was going to be like. I couldn't have been more wrong, I was totally aware of everything that was happening and enjoyed being relaxed. After my first session with Paul I got in the car to drive home and suddenly became aware that I was singing! I had the radio on and I was actually singing! I drove to placement the following day and I was a completely different person in the car, in fact I actually overtook a lorry in a tunnel!! I can't recommend him enough, he has literally changed my life. People have commented on the difference in, not only my driving issues but how the confidence in every aspect of me has improved considerably. I am also now the designated driver for most occasions.
