I engaged Paul to help me with space planning for my two bed property.
I immediately felt at ease with him as I really liked his approach and outlook. I was very impressed with his knowledge, keen eye and attention to detail. He was also happy to go the extra mile and nothing was too much trouble. As this is my first major project, the above factors were really important to me.
He came to visit me at my home and then we interacted over the phone and e-mail to discuss the plans and any amendments or additions that needed to be made. Everything was turned around in a very timely manner.
I can't recommend Paul highly enough.
The plans look fantastic and I hope that my home looks the same in real life when it's finished!

As soon as I contacted Paul to help me with a design for our sitting room and dining room I knew I had made the right decision. He was immediately friendly and enthusiastic and came plan with a proposal in no time at all. Paul made structural suggestions that I wouldn’t have thought of but which made all the difference and was always there for me to bounce any furniture ideas that I had - I could always rely on his impeccable taste! From start to finish Paul was professional, reliable and a true inspiration.
We had a complete home refurb project on our hands and didn't know where to begin...
Paul helped us get going with some excellent layout ideas that hadn't even crossed our minds, true out the box thinking. His ideas saved us a great deal of space and really helped us maximise the natural light in our home ... And with an outstanding , detailed electrical plan we have really made a project into a real home .

I was absolutely delighted with Paul's work on my project. He was brimming with good ideas and always willing to give me a gentle steer in the right direction if he thought I could make better choices. I have worked with Paul on two projects and it was a real pleasure. Both of the commissions that he asked me to work on happened to be balconies or roof terraces. He gave an outline of the theme he was looking for and then I produced planting plans to correspond to those ideas.

Both projects were fun and interesting. They both required designs that were different from the projects I generally work on and had unusual challenges such as being drought resistant or being able to withstand atmospheric conditions not found lower down.

I was really happy with the end results and I think the client and Paul were too. I would definitely recommend Paul as an interior designer as his ideas are second to none. He always goes the extra mile. More...

We used Paul for our whole house renovation project in Essex, and I'm so glad I did. From the first meeting I knew he'd add value to our project and we'd get on. He was always professional, friendly, patient and always done his very best to help.

Paul helped us plan how we'd use the spaces around the house, the lighting and electrical planning (which was tricky) and furniture and layouts. Paul's work saved us so much time and the documents and plans produced were clear and easily understood by the builders and us too.

Paul was the designer we chose when we decided that the atrium in Old Aberdeen Wharf was in need of refurbishment. Paul's use of colour and lighting was particularly appealing as these were 2 areas that were most in need of inspiration. Paul's concepts were absolutely on the money, not only did he keep his thoughts sympathetic to the heritage of this fine old wharf, his use of materials, colours and the bespoke lighting his team created for the space totally transformed it. Paul and I used to work together in a cool little marketing agency many years ago, and then we both moved onto pastures new and ended up retraining in interior design. Since setting up our individual businesses, we have collaborated on a variety of projects over the years, from private residences to apartment blocks and the interior design of creative workspaces. Paul was a joy to work with from start to finish. He was very methodical in his approach and always ready to advise and offer his input when I was stuck for inspiration. His visuals were perfect in conceptualising the end result, which was exactly as he had illustrated at the outset. We asked Paul to help us with space planning for our extension as we needed a multi purpose room in an awkward shaped space. Paul quickly came up with a scheme that we were very happy with and that we thought worked really well. He listened to our ideas and understood our style and then produced 3D images which helped us picture the real thing. Paul Langston assisted with interior design for our house. listened to our specifications for furniture, came up with options, accompanied us to some stores, purchased furniture, and ensured it was delivered and set up.

he also worked with us to design a bespoke TV/audio unit wall with build in gas fire, lights, and display units.
drew proposals worked closely with us, then worked with furniture maker, tv/audio engineers, electrician, and gas fire engineer. he visited site whilst work was ongoing. he saw the project to the end.

It's been a pleasure working with Paul on my recent flat renovation project in London. He's very well organised, hard-working, full of ideas and has a very positive attitude to even some of my more out-there suggestions. Paul has great relationships with a wide range of suppliers and always gets the best out of them. The building team that Paul brought in were fantastic - they kept the space neat and tidy at the end of each day and were very respectful of my neighbours, along with their craftsmanship being very high quality. I bought a 3 bedroom bungalow in 2014, which was I felt had a unique charm but required modernising. Also, the flow of the rooms was not quite right and it was clear I needed a space planner to help sought through the different ideas I had. The property also had a large patio attached to a 100ft garden which required redesigning.

I met a few designers and whilst I liked Paul selected someone else who I felt was stronger on interior design. That was my first mistake, and one I rectified quickly.

The great thing about Paul was his ability to listen and understand the ideas I had and then simply and practically translate them into a design. He did not come to the table with a preconceived design or things he had done in the past, but applied fresh creativity to my specific requirement. Moreover, he is a truly nice person and a pleasure to work with.

I recommended him to my Brother and his wife who were completing a two storey extension to their home. They were equally happy with the design Paul created and how much a pleasure they found him personally.
