A couple of months ago I approached Jay to see if he could fix the windscreen fan on my wife’s car. The fan has not worked properly for over two years; there being no noticeable change when the very top speed was engaged. This was quite dangerous as it led to constant misting up of the windscreen during winter. What was strange was that the top speed did work occasionally but only when the air was on recirculate, not much use to demist the windscreen.

I had the car examined by a couple of garages previously and they both said it was the rheostat (whatever that is) but that they couldn’t help and that I had to go to a main dealer to get it fixed (and be ripped off). Jay listened carefully to my story, took one look and said leave it with me. A couple of days later it was fixed with an extremely reasonable bill.

I would simply like to say thank you for fixing something others couldn’t.

I have complete confidence that Jay clearly does know his stuff and that I can recommend him with confidence. I will continue to use Jay to look after both my vehicles. More...
