We stayed in a studio double room with a cot. Even though the hotel was busy at check in our room was quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly clean and well equipped as always . Great location for exploring southbank and Close to Waterloo stations. All members of staff very helpful. Plenty of towels and toiletries in room. Room gets very hot so you have to keep air conditioning on all the time, but this is common in big hotels with no opening windows. Could have done with drinks cooler being a proper fridge for us to store baby milk overnight. Would definitely recommend this hotel and room type. More...

La estancia en el hotel ha sido fantástica, súper habitaciones, excelente ubicación y sobre todo el trato excepcional desde el minuto 1 todos súper atentos amables y eficientes, gracias Jonny por nuestras súper tortillas y tu buen humor matutino, gracias a los chicos españoles del hotel que estuvieron en todo momento atentos, gracias a todos por hacernos sentir como en casa. Super clean, modern rooms. Friendly staff.Only minus point was the breakfast. As a whole, the selection seemed small for a hotel of that size and the choice at the hot grill was poor compared to hotels of a similar size I have stayed at.

The staff were very pleasant and attentitive and we got a free upgrade to a suite which was great.There was also an offer on where if you waived the cleaning service for one day there were incentives at the bar such as a free bottle of wine. The room And bed was very comfortable. Great hairdryer, always a bonus. Only downside was no shower gel , we had two shampoos. Also, as our door was close to the atrium the clattering of the lifts going up and down all night , was a bit annoying. I kept wondering what the noise was all night, thinking it was staff trolleys or someone had left a window open and something was being blown by the wind. I was tempted to go out into the corridor to see if a window was open somewhere. In the morning, when I went to breakfast , I realised what the noise was. Excellent customer service. We left a baggage with the concierge, and found out only at the airport. We checked with the hotel, and help locate the baggage and delivered the baggage to the airport immediately, and arrived airport within an hour.Well done. Thumbs Up...!

Ideally situated, extremely clean, and an especially helpful and reactive young receptionist who quickly relocated us when there were a few amenities issues with our initial room. Firstly its important to know that there are three Park Plaza hotels all situated very close together, resulting in me going to the wrong one first! PP really should make their guests aware of this fact, as their doorman are all aware and said it happens all the time Once in the room, which was upgraded for free (nice touch). Nice in room views of the Shard etc, reasonably priced food. In room TV a bit dated, Bed very comfyLifts not great. We stayed here for 10days and it was our 3rd stay. Initially there were some challenges such as slow network on the 9th floor but after complaining we were moved to the 10th floor and the connection was ok. Great location right by Westminster Bridge and only a 2 minute walk to Waterloo station which makes it so easy to get around the city. I stayed here for two weeks and was able to easily explore the city each night and on the weekend. Rooms were spacious, clean and accommodating. My room had a nice seating area up front, a kitchenette across from the bathroom, followed by the bedroom in the back.Friendly, helpful staff. More...

I have stayed here and at the other 2 Park Plazas in the vicinity, Westminster Bridge and Waterloo as I have needed to be close to St Thomas’ hospital. ||County Hall is by far the nicest in my opinion. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially Ronald on the door, room was clean with lovely bathroom. Unfortunately we had booked the Waterloo Plaza for later that week which although a newer smarter hotel just didn’t compare to this one. Best value and excellent location. More...

Stayed here for one night and couldn’t really fault the hotel, best one we have stayed in yet, staff were so helpful, room excellent and breakfast perfect, my only complaint was that we upgraded to a city view but when we got to our room the only view was of Waterloo station, still a good hotel though.

We hadnt stayed in Central London since our 4 year old was born so we were keen to find a hotel that offered that extra room space that you require with an additional couple of feet in tow and that isnt located too far from the sights we wanted to visit. ||||The Park Plaza fitted that criteria for us - ideally located just round the corner from the London Eye and easy to get to from Waterloo and Westminster underground stations for little legs. This area is not so busy it becomes clostrophobic and is ideal for the South Bank and plenty of restaurants that cater for young children whilst only being a short hop across the river from the rest of central London which is within easy walking distance.||||Before our arrival we had excellent Customer Service from the hotel with a special mention to Petra who assisted us via email prior to our arrival.||||The room itself was ideal - floor to celing windows overlooking Waterloo station (dont worry you couldnt hear the trains!), which was amazing for our little one! Our bed and his were seperated by a large pillar where the TVs were located which offered that little extra privacy for when he'd gone to bed and felt like you were in two bedrooms. The room also had a kitchenette with a Microwave, sink etc and a good sized bathroom - all of which was exceptionally clean, tidy and well presented.||||We didnt eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food but overall I would definately recommend the hotel if you want to stay on the South Bank and especially if you have children in tow.
