This is my second visit to this wonderful hotel. There is nothing to complain about. Very very helpful staff. Special compliments to chef in restaurant. Fresh and delicious food.

The young Waitress named Morgan in the Breakfast room. She was so helpful to my Wife and I helping with our Teas and Breakfasts and carrying everything for us. We both depend on walking sticks and I have visual problems, so her assistance was so appreciated and she should be commended. More...

Visited on several occasion’s, afternoon tea was very good value for money & bonus of a table with a sea view. Attended an evening function, food was very good, the bar had a variety of wines and spirits. Staff attentive & friendly. Advise is please try the Park Inn by Radisson Palace I was not disappointed. The sea view room had a fantastic view and worth the extra cost, the rooms are starting to look tired and the 50 min wait for bar snacks not great but would stay again with a sea view

Lovely hotel. Nice staff. Was kept waiting for over half an hour with my daughter to order food and I sensed the restaurant was somewhat under resourced or mismanaged. Perhaps there was a last minute wedding or event I didn’t know about. The room was excellent. Spacious and clean. Great view. Getting a bit old but for £75 a night it was a lot better than expected. I would stay again for sure but eat elsewhere. Also the reception told me I could park until 5pm the following day for £5 but I was charged £20. More...

ok price was good.. location is perfect.. room was of a nice size bed a bit hard but this is because it's not springs. could have been a little cleaner. . mould in bathroom .. bleach stains on the carpets other than that was ok. our TV didn't work so they asked if we wanted to change rooms which we did.. they gave us a seaview room and a free breckfast. breckfast was really nice and so was the view! would definitely book again and would recommend! they don't have a car park how ever they have a discount set up with the multi storie carpark over the road! wich was ok. Stayed from the 19th-21st April. Friendly helpful staff and a lovely spacious clean room with a great view of the pier, beach and adventure island; there’s air con in the room too which was a nice bonus and the shower was easy to use and better than any other hotel I’ve stayed in. I’d recommend getting to breakfast early though as we got there a bit late (10am on a Saturday) and there was barely anything left and everything that was there had gone cold and it was all a bit messy from previous diners. The hotel bar is pretty expensive as well, but all in all really good and would come back again. Thank you More...

Decent room overlooking Adventureland for a 'Fools and 3 Courses' evening. Food was pretty good but some catering staff need refreshed training. Everyone friendly so would return if ever in Southend again. Breakfast finishes at 10-30 on a Sunday and food was getting sparse on our 10am arrival so it's best to arrive no later than an hour before closing. The event was excellent and the performers chatted with us afterwards until after 1am. All in all a very pleasant stay. Thankyou. More...

A group of us were here on Friday for the OFAH & 3 courses event. Small queue of guests checking in so we waited but only to ask where do we go. If there were boards out on easels directing people there would be no reason for people to need to speak to reception. Same on the 1st floor, nothing to say where to go, we relied on guests to point us in the right direction. More...
