Good facilities, great location and reasonable price.We spent three nights there and enjoyed our stay. It was in a walking distance of city centre and many tourist attractions. This was a great hotel I was down on a work trip where my own colleagues locked me out of my own hotel room late at night but the wonderful lady on reception helped me out and was really nice. The staff was helpful.

This hotel is about a 10 minute leisurely walk to Manchester's Victoria Station and a further five minutes to the shopping area. It is fairly new, although there were a number of maintenance issues which need to be attended to (I can't believe I was the first person to have reported that one of the lifts had no button to my floor as it had popped out). Check in was efficient. It cost £80 for bed and breakfast.||||The bedroom was a good size and had an iron and board, as well as a desk to work at. The bed was comfortable. The décor was a bit ugly, utilising the house colours both on the ceiling (painted orange!) and in the bathroom (with some red tiles). My biggest quibble was my TV kept conking out. Why it needs to be connected to the internet I know not but it meant I had to call reception on two occasions to have it fixed and gave up in the end.||||There is a small but nice swimming pool, with a sauna and steam room next to it. Oddly, the changing rooms have no doors, which was a bit disconcerting.||||Breakfast was a very good quality, with a range of options for different tastes and cultures (there was even an Asian corner). Alas, I had an accident with a coffee cup as the plastic lids do not fit properly.||||Overall, it was a relatively pleasant stay but I prefer a more central hotel. More...

Nothing to join the two twin beds together as a fake king so just slipped down the middle as the night went on. Not what I ordered. Other than that , not bad, lovely gym and pool facility, one or the major reasons I was persuaded to book here. Near Victoria train station part of Manchester. It's a good meeting place, and the bar area and restaurant are modern. The food we had exceeded expectations and is above the standard you normally get on a hotel. Our room was fairly standard, but very clean with a good shower and bathroom. The television in the room had Chrome Cast, so you could link it to your phone. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for one night as a family with our young daughter for a birthday celebration treat. Our main reason for picking the hotel was for its location and the fact that children can use the pool. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the lady in reception (Roberta or Rebecca). They welcomed our daughter and made her feel very special with her own little spa pack. The room was immaculate and spacious and there was a lovely little birthday message and cake waiting for us when we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and the vibe of the hotel was very relaxing with check out not until 12pm. We will definitely come back and have signed up for the rewards program too. Liked||Staff friendly and helpful especially the receptionist, well positioned hotel for city centre, room very clean and well appointed, free wi fi, lifts worked well and quick response, breakfast excellent. ||Could be improved||Lighting in room a little dull, aircon not adjustable and a little cool, could not find hotel restaurant menus anywhere in room or hotel so eat out (which was a mistake) parking expensive, tv a bit hit and miss.||||||||Manchester in General||Visited for the Christmas markets which were excellent though closed quite early when everyone was just starting to get into the spirit, Street food and drinks excellent although a bit on the expensive side due I guess to high rental charges for the market sites, better than Prague Christmas market. Manchester is fairly compact in the central part so easy to walk around, not too many street people apparent. Huge disappointment with the restaurants visited, Weatherspoons, Slug and Lettuce, Dirty tables non attentive staff at the Deansgate S&L very poor service and barley adequate food at the Albert square S&L, Weatherspoons not able to fulfil the order as they ran out of fish? Stayed here as had business in Manchester. Lovely warm welcome from staff. Beautiful hotel well appointed. Room was large with a comfortable king size bed. Very clean room and super shower and bath. Went to have a meal at a restaurant across from our hotel. There are several bars literally a stones throw from the Radisson. ||The exceptional thing about the hotel was their newly refurbished Pool /spa/gym downstairs done out in an edgy industrial urban look. . Clean hotel. Quiet and comfortable. Wait for check in was long. If check in is at three (late in my opinion) then everyone comes at three, so the wait time was a long and only two people on the front desk. The hotel could benefit from auto check in. Having said that, the hotel changed our boking from a standard to a twin on the spot, which we were happy with. It's a little off Victoria station. Overall an enjoyable experience but the bathrooms need new sealant (mould developed) along with toiletries in bottles offered rather than soap dispensers (seems to be reused) which looks tacky and cheap
