Honestly I was feeling at my worse and PA Counselling & Psychotherapy really helped me overcome my deppresion. I love how it was online counselling because it is hard for me to travel and price is unbeatable compared to other therapists. Highly recommended to everyone.

I felt so at ease after a few sessions with PA counselling & psychotherapy. As a student I’ve learnt it’s important to seek support during exam season as it’s so stressful so I’d definitely recommend. Thank you!

Exam stress this year was too overwhelming and almost gave up. I was told to speak to somebody about it and see if they can help me calm my nerves and reduce my stress level and that’s when I come across PA Counselling and Psychotherapy. Puja really helped me to understand steps that I have to take to reduce my worry and to have confidence and belief in myself. More...

Q&A

What i love most about my job is helping people with their mental health. Mental health is something that should not be rushed. I love having a therapeutic relationship with my client so we can work together to help with issue they have brought to me.

What inspired me to start my own business is looking at the NHS and how they don't see it as a vital issue and how waiting lists can be up to 1 year long. No one should be waiting that long to see a therapist and starting my own business lets me put my clients first and see them as early as i possibly can.

Clients should choose me because, i believe that everyone should have the chance to talk about how they feel, what is going on in their life and to just open up when they feel comfortable. Counselling is not something that should be rushed and i go by the pace of the client. I use CBT and Humanistic therapy. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a type of talking treatment which focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and behaviour, and teaches you coping skills for dealing with different problems. It combines cognitive therapy (examining the things you think) and behaviour therapy (examining the things you do). Humanistic therapy is a positive approach to psychotherapy that focuses on a person’s individual nature, Humanistic therapy looks at the whole person, not only from the therapist’s view but from the viewpoint of individuals observing their own behaviour. The emphasis is on a person’s positive traits and behaviors, and the ability to use their personal instincts to find wisdom, growth, healing, and fulfillment within themselves.
