Ostara is beautiful as it celebrates doing things with local, sustainable, low carbon footprint, with sky high a quality offering. Selling eggs by the carton. I don't have a big enough vocabulary to express how much I appreciate this place. Food, fantastic combination of flavours, off menu specials, amazing, chocolate brownie brilliant, latte awesome, service perfect. Love the effort the staff put in, brilliant. Love it!!! More...

Sweet potato, pepper and squash soup accompanied by a cheese scone - delish! Venison pie - yummy! No room for anything else, so took cake (white choc) home to have later. Loved the ambience - fab music (not too loud!) and interesting art on the walls. Will definitely be back! More...

The Ox cheeks were absolutely divine. Unfortunately they were only on the specials board, so you would have to time your visit right. A friend has the Salmon which was highly rated. Also been there for breakfast and it was very nice. More...

Very nice breakfast we had the special which was poached egg on sourdough with sprouting broccoli, wild leeks, and hollandaise sauce we were supposed to have the mushrooms as well but they were missed off. They were very good when we said the mushrooms were missing and took £4 off our bill. On the whole the breakfast was fab and so was the service. More...

Brilliant brunch today! The brunch bruscetta was delish, love that you can read about all the suppliers and as much as possible is local. My wee girl loved her first oat milk babyccino - hardly anywhere does oat milk, was great to see a choice of dairy free milk on offer! Coffee was also lovely. Fresh eggs were delivered when we were there so I've come home with half a dozen eggs too. See you guys again soon! More...
