What an amazing venue with incredible staff. Choose Fairyhill for your wedding and there is no doubt that it will be the perfect day for you and all your guests. Thank you all at Fairyhill! What you did on our day was above and beyond our expectations. The comments we have had from guests is overwhelming and showed just how dedicated you were to ensuring that everyone enjoyed themselves and everyone’s needs were catered for without fuss. Our guests have raved about the food provided… “the best food [they had] ever at a wedding”; “first wedding we have never been hungry at”; “I am still craving that goats cheese starter”… appetites were certainly fully catered for! Comments about how helpful and friendly and organised the Fairyhill staff had been were things we’d not considered at all but were so proud to have received. Behind the scenes, the kitchen, bar and all the other functions we wouldn’t have thought about, ensured that everyone had a fantastic day. Every guest has reported something from the wedding which was ‘the best’ they had experienced which has made us very happy and we cannot thank you enough. Fairyhill gave us the wedding of our dreams. Jo, Shakira and the team attended to our every wish and made us feel like royalty on the day. You won’t find a better venue in South Wales, probably in the UK. Our wedding was a little while ago but we are still getting lots of compliments from our guests, who had a wonderful day. We highly recommend Fairyhill to any couple, especially those who want to get married in the Gower. The staff take the time to get to know you and truly understand how you envisage your day. They had the contacts and the energy to get things done and at short notice, such as a last minute sweet cart and menu changes. 5 star service. You won’t be disappointed. We had the most magical weekend at Fairyhill in December 2018. They have a wonderful team, who helped make our wedding as special as it was. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home - they take such pride in what they do and always sought to go above and beyond. Where do I start... our wedding day was 06.12.18 and from the moment I stepped inside (November 2017) I knew this was where I wanted to become Mrs Leach, where I knew our guest's would be in the best hands and have as much of a memorable day and night as we would. From the breath taking views and scenery to the beauty of the historic house and the newly built chic k room's. We stayed the night before at cerrig glan and the night of at fairyhill. Nothing was too much trouble and the day was just as I had envisaged 12 months prior. Everything went to plan and if there was a problem I didn't know it. The food is perfection and the staff who I now call friends are amazing! They took my vision, made it a reality and exceeded my expectations. Sam & Katie 31/08/18 Thank you to you all, just can’t believe how perfect you made it for us, felt like a dream. After always wanting a destination wedding, travelling to and nearly booking Croatia and Portugal something wasn’t right, someone mentioned fairyhill so we came down to see. We only stepped through the door and knew at that moment that was our wedding venue even before the amazing k room. It is unbelievably beautiful, so amazing but so different to all other venues around wales, nowhere else compares. All of your staff are amazing, so kind and genuine and still so professional. The food is the best we have ever tasted, outstanding, all our guests were wowed by every dish and canapé. All the little inbetweeners were perfect too. Also amazing wines and drinks to complement the food. The rooms are just gorgeous, bridal suite looks like something you see on a bond film, stunning. The best wedding venue ever. From the moment we first stepped through the door at Fairyhill we knew we had found the venue of our dreams Throughout the planning process we attended on a number of occassions, meeting many of the team, including owner Nigel, who were all, each time, as equally welcoming as the first. We would like to thank our wedding coordinator Jo - and Millie, for all of your help towards achieving the very best from our day and for always being available to answer any questions, you are both such an asset to the team Our Wedding took place on Friday 12th October, which happened to be the weekend that Storm Callum hit The night before I felt slightly disheartened that this may put a 'dampener on our day' - but I could not have been more wrong!! With all fireplaces roaring and candles adorning every room the venue looked BEAUTIFUL and the atmosphere inside was so cosy & relaxed - the k room ooked spectacular and we hardly noticed our uninvited guest, 'Callum', outside. Between the storm our photographers, @TheWeddingGuys managed to capture some incredible outside shots, including one in the pouring rain - proving that the venue truly is perfect in all weathers. The food throughout our stay; breakfast/wedding breakfast/evening buffet - was absolutely incredible with all guests catered for and everyone thoroughly enjoyed - massive compliments to the chef from us all. Our day ran perfectly from start to finish thanks to Jo, Millie, Dan & the team - who all remained so kind and attentive throughout. Our guests, my husband and I were treated incredibly with nothing being too much trouble - and for that we are sincerely grateful. To all future brides and grooms considering this venue - we cannot recommend a Fairyhill Wedding enough - you certainly won't be disappointed!! WOW, where on earth do we start? We got married here on the 17th March shortly after the opening of the new 'Kaleidoscope' room and it was incredible. The staff are so incredibly hardworking, kind and attentive and certainly treated us like absolute VIPs and do certainly know how to put on a good wedding! The ceremony and wedding breakfast room was absolutely breathtaking with outstanding views and grounds. The food was out of this world and there were no issues catering for special dietary requirements; our vegan and vegetarian guests were equally thrilled with their meals. We really don't know how the food was still so delicious catering for 110 guests; the best arancini that we have ever tasted, the beef literally melted in our mouths and the white chocolate cheesecake was also the best we've ever had, the amuse bouche and champagne sorbet courses were an excellent additional treat! Had afternoon tea with my mum and sister. Lovely place, warm welcome. However the tea was another story. The food looked lovely they brought the sandwiches out with the cakes. You normally have the sandwiches first then the cakes. The waitress didn't tell us what anything was so we had to guess by sight and smell. We had stainless steal teapot, hot water pot and milk jug which looked awful with the white find bone china cups and saucers with didn't match.It was all a bit of a squash and a squeeze with my sister sitting right by the door so she had a draft everytime someone opened a door behind her. Having had afternoon tea at The Bath Priory, The Dorchester London, The Grove Hertfordshire, I've a lot to compare it too. The waitress didn't pour our first cup of tea either. When my sister made the original booking she mentioned she had a nut allergy so could they make sure nothing had nuts in please. They huffed and puffed but eventually said ok. Not difficult to give us white and brown bread instead of bread with nuts in! She also asked if one of the cakes could have a little candle in as it was my mum's birthday but this never happened. She even asked if there was an extra cost and was told no it's fine we'll organise it.When we wanted to pay we couldn't find anyone to pay. No waitress, bar staff or anyone for a good 15 minutes. I've given the rating "very good" because the food was lovely and the greeting we had was lovely too. It's just those "finishing touches" that were lacking. We were shown by the man who greeted us initially where the extension would go and it seems well under way. Maybe a spa would be good too? You could have spa weekends, spa days and incorporate it with staying at the hotel. The young man who greeted us was lovely, he showed us where to go and pulled our chairs for us. Would I go back? Yes but not for afternoon tea, just lunch. More...

Went for my moters 65th. Very pleasant and attentive staff, very nice meal, soothing mello ambience for a close family sunday lunch, lovely accoustic backgound music. I could have sat all afternoon in one of the lounges sipping a drink reading a paper, getting involved in a conversation and glancing out occasionaly to the grounds occasionally getting up to walk the paths and letting my worries flow from my body. We visited Fairyhill for a family celebratory lunch on the 24th July and wanted to say a big thank you for looking after us so well. Your staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble - you even made 'special orders' for two members of our party. We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary here last night absolutely beautiful food, great service couldn't fault it.. had 3 courses each and each course was lush! The fire alarm did go off as we were eating but I think the chef was obviously cooking up a storm with those beautiful steaks�� (best we have had by far I must say) but even the fire alarm going off didn't spoil it for us! Simply perfect. My husband & I visited for lunch yesterday and from the moment we arrived & were welcomed to the moment we left everything was perfect.
