What a wonderful place to stay the staff were fantastic nothing was to much bother for them and as a wheelchair user I couldn't fault them they certainly know how to treat their guests and the hotel it self was smashing clean and tidy and breakfast was one of the best I've had well done lads keep up the good work

We stayed at the North Ocean Hotel for one night as it's located close to the starting point of the Blackpool marathon. The hotel is very clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff are very friendly and helpful to the point that they allowed me to keep my room and use the shower after I had completed the marathon without any additional charges. I have just arrived home after a two night stay at this establishment for a girls weekend away with my best friend. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely Young man (Cody), who made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. Once we had checked in, we were shown to our room on the 1st floor. My friend due to her mobility issues struggled with the stairs but Cody was very patient and offered to assist us with our bags. ||When we got to our room (7) I giggled upon spotting bunk beds, although there was a single divan in there also. This was a triple room to which we had been upgraded to allow my friend more room to navigate. The room was cold on arriving, but, after a short while after putting on the heater it was nice and toasty.||As my friend is a smoker, we were given access to the sea view balcony and whilst we were sat out on it, John, the Manager came and introduced himself and had a chat to us. We knew from that point we had made the right choice to stay there. ||Yes, the rooms may need updating, however, ours was clean and comfortable and we both enjoyed a good nights sleep both nights.||John and Cody were very accommodating, and nothing was too much trouble. They even allowed us to store my friends wheelchair in the dining area for ease. ||Breakfast was excellent! ||In all, our stay was a joy, and we were made to feel at home. On Entry was greeted by A Young Gent.i had booked at seaview room but was told on 3rd floor so was hoping for a lift as mobility issues but none so have struggled to get up stopping for a break on 2nd floorto get my breath. Room Spotless .but curtains need replacing only on closing found two holes on the left one.shower ok just need to make entrance bigger as you need to be very slim to get init.was clean.coukd do with info in every room easy done on printer.with times of breakfast to and from.bar opening and closure and leaving time when checking out .Breakfast really nice. The hotel is spotless Our Room was spotless to .only disapointments was the shower opening as you need to be very thin to get in to it . plus the stairs as we were on top floor and having mobility issues with osteo arthritus and other health issues got to 2nd floor and was in agony stood for a short time then was able to get to the top .can do 1st floor stairs with ease but 6 flights not good as i did my knee in when coming down .Breakfast really good plenty of choice ...they could do with printed sheets of breakfast times to and from checking out times as well as nothing mentioned plus wifi passcode . Booked 3 rooms at this hotel after seeing it advertised on Trip Adviser.||We had an overnight stay and I can't express enough how pleased I was with the accommodation. I was very happy with the location.The rooms were immaculately presented all having en suite and 2 having a sea view, the staff could not have been more helpful. This hotel ticked all the boxes for us, except for one thing. The breakfast. The last two times we stayed, which were recent months, it was a delicious full English, piping hot and freshly cooked. This time it was a Continental breakfast which wasn't very appealing. We had marmalade on toast and one morning my husband had cereal. There was a notice on the dining room door to say Monday-Friday Continental and weekends a Full English but you don't know this until you arrive! We went to Bispham for a cooked breakfast at a cost of £15. So this added onto the cost of our hotel, ended up not such a good deal after all. It should be stated on the Agoda website whether it's a Full English or a Continental breakfast so it helps people to decide which one they prefer. Just checking out after a nights stay. From what we've experienced, cracking little place. Was welcomed on arrival by a very polite young man. Our room was spotlessly clean, ok a bit dated, but very large and surpassed our expectations. I was apprehensive after we booked reading some of the reviews, and emailed the owner saying this, received a very nice email back off the new owner saying how they are trying very hard to update the hotel and assured me our stay would be fine. Which it was , the staff are very friendly, especially the manager, and work hard to keep the guests happy. The hotel is on the front at the quiet end of Blackpool,which is great!! We had a decent breakfast in the morning, with unlimited tea/coffe etc. Would definitely stay here again , of the bad reviews on here I honestly think some people expect the Ritz for £50 a night !!! Unfortunately we ran out of toilet paper so had to go to reception to ask for more as was only supplied with 1.the floor was wet in the bathroom so when we stepped in there it soaked our feet so had to use the clean towels to mop it up. My room was compact with a good sized TV and a nice view of the beach (and some illuminations). Clean comfortable bed, a key to go in and out at any time and lots of coffee/tea refilling at breakfast. I would definitely stay again.

Booked this hotel based on reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Stayed in a few big Blackpool hotels and have found rooms small and tired so really wanted to give an independent a try. The North Ocean hotel had a lovely clean spacious room with excellent sea view, we upgraded to top room and it was still ridiculously good value. Only one thing would have improved it for us, somewhere to hang clothes, we had clothing that needed hanging rather than being folded in a drawer.||Breakfast was excellent, freshly made to order with lots on the side and unlimited coffee and tea.||All the staff friendly and helpful. Room was very clean with bay window doors leading out onto a sea view terrace, the new owners have told us of bad reviews but to be fair they were very lovely people who couldn't do enough for you. As with any new undertaking of a business there is always a bit of a learning curve and bound to be some little issues that may come up from time to time, but all considered and in all honesty my partner and I found it brilliant.
