We had an incredible service from them as we brought a cushion from a sofa which has been attacked by mice having been stored for 2 years. The challenge was that we bought the sofa 14 years ago in France. Having had a very bad experience with a previous upholstery company in Norwich, I was very weary of ever taking that path again. However, I had a Multi York sofa and chair which I wanted to keep, but they were looking a bit tired. I had seen Norfolk Upholstery advertisements and had also visited their shop at Notcutts Garden Centre, in Norwich. I was impressed with what they had to offer, so I made an appointment for Karl, the owner, to come to my home to discuss options. I was so impressed with his knowledge and expertise, but also, his friendly, no pressure, manner. I wanted to ensure that I was choosing the right fabric, so there were many phone calls back and forth, whilst I made my choices. Karl and his staff were so patient and courteous throughout. I have just taken delivery of my recovered sofa, chair, stool and many scatter cushions and I couldn’t be more delighted. I cannot recommend this family run business highly enough. My mother has a favourite old sofa that was starting to get a bit too saggy to use. It needed a particular type of webbing on its bottom to make it worth using again. I would have no hesitation in recommending Norfolk Upholstery. I had a small repair job to be done on a second hand chest of Drawers. .( the draw had a gaping hole at the back and wouldn't shut properly) which I had recently bought online to match my daughter's existing wardrobe. From start to finish I received excellent service... David even came to my house to look at the chest of drawers, before taking it away for repair. The repair was done promptly and to a really good professional standard. David was down to earth and didn't make me feel as if the job was too small. Fantastic service. When an over enthusiastic dog ripped our sofa, this was the only company who said they could fix it. They came and quoted free of charge, then Karl spent a long time going through the sample books until we found a matching material.
