Nicola Joy Wedding Films

Nicola was amazing, we couldn't recommend her enough. We absolutely love our film, it's so special and she really captured the atmosphere of the day. So much nicer than the more serious wedding films others offer, we were drawn to the sense of fun she gets across. We're so grateful to have such a lovely reminder of the day which we will treasure forever.

Nicola’s services were bought for us by some close friends as a wedding present.

Initially we were apprehensive on the idea of a videographer at our wedding, but we were pleasantly surprised! Nicola was an absolute joy to have around on our big day. Professional and discreet we hardly noticed her throughout.

The highlights video of the wedding was better than we could ever of imagined, all the best parts of the day rolled into a brilliant montage with music, as well as snippets from the speeches. Nicola really did capture the happiness of the day fantastically well.

Without a doubt we would recommend Nicola to anyone getting married!

We are over the moon with the service that Nicola and her assistant Lauren provided for our wedding. They were professional, yet friendly and really went the extra mile to capture the best parts of our big day. They made us feel relaxed and were really unobtrusive - as soon as the day began and the guests arrived, we were completely unaware of their presence and so completely shocked at how fabulous the videos are! We have had many comments from our guests saying how good the highlights video was and now we have recieved the full feature film, we are completely in love! Lauren was fantastic with our three year old, who subsequently wants to watch the wedding again and again and again! Nicola you have done a phenomenal job at editing all the footage, the end result is just great. I'm so so happy we decided to have a videographer and even happier we chose Nicola Joy films.

Nix is an amazing videographer and made our day last forever with her fantastic video. She captured all the things I didn't see or even remember and every time I watch the highlights, it brings back tears of joy without fail.
I would urge anyone to definitely book her for your big day. She's professional, warm and so personable. We all loved her and felt like she was one of our guests rather than our videographer.

I found Nicola when I watched a friends wedding film, she had captured their day in such a lovely way I knew that I would love her to film our day too and I am so pleased she did. Nicola has an amazing eye for detail and is really able to capture the feeling from the day in a lovely natural way, I didn't even realise she was there for many of the clips she got! Nicola is so professional and friendly. After loosing my nan a few months before getting married it suddenly became a priority to have our wedding filmed. Right from the beginning she was just amazing answering all my questions and putting my mind at ease. Like any bride you always worry about people not turning up! Nicola was in contact with us all the time, asking how we were and checking venue guidelines etc. Although we had never met Nicola before we felt like she took the time to get to know us before the wedding day. On the day of the wedding Nicola and her team arrived early and with huge similes on their faces. They were so discreet and noninvasive all through the day and many guests commented on how amazing they were. After the wedding Nicola remained in contact with us and within a few weeks we received our preview film which was lovely to share with our family and friends and got us all excited for the feature film. When the feature film arrived we were blown away. It was presented in a beautiful box with a personalised USB key. I had seen Nicola work her magic first hand at many of our weddings at Curradine Barns, she is a pleasure to to work with and creates such beautiful films I knew we had to have her capture our day. Having just watched the footage back we are completely overwhelmed and blown away by all of the wonderfully personal moments from our wedding that Nicola was able to capture, moments we completely missed wrapped up in the madness of our big day. From the beginning, Nicola was fantastic to work with. She is friendly, professional and we straight away knew we could trust her to create a beautiful film of our day. Throughout the day she was discrete, efficient and brought great energy to our wedding day. She was patient, flexible and it was easy to forget that she was actually there at times - she was expertly and covertly capturing every moment. When we received our highlights film we couldn’t believe how beautifully Nicola had filmed and edited our day. We have had so many compliments about the film and haven’t been able to stop watching it. Somehow, Nicola managed to perfectly encapsulate us as a couple and the feel of our day. I cannot stress enough just how amazing Nicola and her company are! She knows her stuff and is such a genuinely nice person, which helps make everything seem so easy. We barely noticed her there, which is a good thing! We watched the final videos for the first time last night and Nicola has managed to catch all the emotion on camera, tears, laughs and love.
