What do you love most about your job?
Nick Elias, Director: A difficult question to answer, I suppose all of it! I get an enormous sense of enjoyment from developing ideas with clients, understanding their vision, and showing them what's possible in their budget.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Nick Elias, Director: Working at Foster + Partners and as an Associate at Haptic Architects I worked on large and very design-oriented powerful schemes such as Apple Headquarters, CA, HS2, Istanbul New Airport, and Oslo Government Headquarters. I started my practice to follow the agenda of design excellence, feeding in expertise and organisational skills from the larger firms, but instead to work on smaller more intimate architecture, of which I also had much experience of.

We offer quality design. Elsewhere this often comes at a premium however we are flexible on pricing should it be the deciding factor in appointing Nick Elias Studio. We start by listening to clients carefully to understand their requirements and priorities. We often develop a lasting relationship with clients, advising beyond the norm to ensure they are as happy as possible with our services.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, although we prefer to visit the site at least once in the early stages. Our studio works very well remotely and have done so for projects in the US, Norway and Sweden.
