Sampling
Sampling of suspected asbestos products for laboratory analysis as to determine asbestos type.
Management Surveys
Identifying all asbestos materials in the property that are accessible during normal occupancy. Full report provided upon completion.
Refurbishment and Demolition Survey
Identifying all asbestos products in the property including hidden areas, such as floor/wall voids, cavities etc, as far as is reasonably practicable. Full report provided upon completion. A must have survey for major refurbishment or demolition works!
Part Refurbishment Surveys
This is a Management Survey which includes specific areas that have been highlighted for a Refurbishment Survey level of investigation. Full report upon completion. Good for if you’re having a kitchen or bathroom refurbished but don’t want the extensive damage to the rest of your property that comes with a Refurbishment and Demolition investigation!
Asbestos Management Plans
A document that sets out the course of action surrounding any identified asbestos products in the property. It describes the location of asbestos products and describes the risk associated with each product. It lays out the process of communication behind any risk concerns and sets out an action plan for any essential asbestos works needed, with a log of any works that have been completed.
Asbestos Management Plans are a legal requirement for owners of non-domestic properties, though there are areas where this can leak over to domestic properties, such as certain tenancy agreements etc. All information regarding your requirements are available from HSE (Health and Safety Executive).
