I booked four rooms at the Holiday Inn, Sutton. I wanted to spend the weekend following my 70th birthday with my children, grandchildren and family. I couldn't have chosen a better place. I cant believe I haven't reviewed The Hiliday Inn Sutton, in fact I dodnt really leave reviews much anyway!||I visit this hotel very regularly and it is almost once a week on business. ||As part of the IHG Spire Elite club I get upgraded often, but dispite that, the staff are always friendly to make this a wonderful home, away from home. In the 100+ times I have stayed here over the past 12+ years, every room has been clean, the beds wonderfully comfortable and food magnificent. ||Tonight I am upgraded to their King Bed Suite. Luxurious with a separate lounge with two bathrooms, the main one being with a jacuzzi!! I would describe it with simple luxury.||Aside from the Suite I am in now which has modern furnishings, the Junior Suites have more traditional furniture which are lovely. Even the standard rooms are spacious and very well appointed. ||The main thing with this hotel though is the staff. Thay are amazing. The fact that I have stayed here and kept coming back so many times is because of the great welcome, and knowing that whatever room I am in, it will be perfectly and quietly comfortable. ||Keep it up Holiday Inn Sutton!!|| More...

This is a nice hotel with friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. It is convenient for travel to London and for staying in when I visit friends and family. The bathroom in my room was a little tired but perfectly functional. I can't comment on the food as haven't eaten in this one but it's usual good in most HI hotels. More...

Arrived at 5am having been let down by 3 Travelodge hotels (despite having a booking). The night staff - a lovely guy called Hakim, let me in and sorted me out with a room to use for 8 hours which was just what i needed before a long drive home. He could clearly see that i was exhausted and really didn't need another knock back. Thank you Hakim for your great service and thank you to Holiday Inn for allowing your staff to make decisions to assist desperate customers. A+++++ More...

Denise Kimpton at your front desk goes over and above to ensure she can help in anyway. Nothing is ever trouble for her. A great asset to this hotel.All staff are very polite, very helpful , if the hotel can be brought up to their standards you will have a superb hotel, They are just let down a little with product availability, how can a bar run out of larger, or a limited menu run out of certain dishes when they do not change from week to week. This hotel is amazing and staff are so friendly and helpful. The reception team did an amazing job to make sure our stay was exceptional. me and my fiancé was staying for our engagement and the front office manager Denise did everything to make sure our stay was perfect which ended up in us staying an additional night. We did have a misunderstanding with my wallet going missing but I was stressed and upset I lost it that I did write a review which I regret we did stay in this hotel many times and everytime we did Denise always made us feel welcome. ||||Thank you so much Denise. I enjoyed the Holiday Inn in Sutton. The hotel was rather dated but very clean and comfortable. Did not experience any issues while we were there. Staff was very good and the hotel is within close proximity to the Sutton High Street and public transportation, about 35 minutes on Southern Rail to Victoria on the faster train. More...

excellent hotel but upon entering unsightly concrete islands on entering, where barriers use to be this is also dangerous when walking into hotel in the dark. First impression is of quite a run down building , but inside it’s clean and tidy , reception area was overwhelming swimming baths smell, however the lovely ladies on the desk were helpful, patient and took the time to sort people out. The room was clean but very dated , secondary glazing and no ability to open the windows. Only one power socket on same wall as the bed and it was underneath the hanging space . Lighting and air conditioning again dated and the air conditioning possibly in need or a service given the volume of dust it blew out.Restaurant are is clean and good selection of food and it’s of good quality. Again staff very helpful and kept it tidy during a busy breakfast.Building needs money spent on it but doesn’t have much competition in the area. More...

Overall a nice stay, the front entrance was dirty due to wedding party outside smoking. The noise was unacceptable in the room from wedding and Sunday morning prayers being held in meeting rooms on our floor and next door to the room.
