Q&As

The idea of putting a smile on someones face by doing just your job.

The vast care providers at the moment care about nothing but money. The foundations of our care agency are based on going above and beyond for our Service Users even if we have to make the cut on costs.

We are small business currently which is very adapatable to our customer requirements. Both owner and Registered Care Manager have worked in healthcare for a numerous amount of years. We have worked in the leading care providers at the moment including Bluebird Care, Nationwide Care, Sevacare and more but we believe the in the finer details that we look out as they are the reasons why we are so different from the rest.

Not possible. We can provide welfare calls and checks to check in your loved ones to make sure they are well.

We follow strict guidlines and protocols set by the Governement. We promote the vaccine to all staff and customers including families and support networks. We have strict guidance on testing staff and customers whilst ensuring that we can do our job safely and to the best standard.

Many carers are also drivers with whom we don’t charge extra for that privilege (just a small cost towards their car running costs if used in the course of the assignment)

All carers have regular reviews and training updates to ensure we are CQC compliant and feel supported in the role they carry out.

All the 24-hour managed care packages are further backed by our on-call support team if needed.

Couples can remain together in their own home, through our couple care packages.

Our Companionship Care provides a wide range of comprehensive services which are delivered flexibly so as to meet the changing day-to-day needs that you or your loved ones may have.

Companionship Care can make all the difference to the quality of life for those whom we serve. These services can be provided at times to suit on and off throughout the day for just a few hours, or for longer unbroken stretches of time.

Care doesn’t stop at 5pm. For many people, the evening and overnight, is when they need support the most. So, if your care requirements have led you to consider nursing homes or assisted living facilities, then you may find an alternative through M&S Care Services. An overnight carer enables you to remain independent, avoiding the routines and restrictions which can come with a care home. Having a care worker available through the night, also provides the reassurance you need to get a good night’s sleep.

You can both expect a good night’s sleep with this option. If you anticipate only occasional support in the night, but value the presence of a trusted carer in your home until morning, this is the right choice.

If you wake often, or need regular assistance with medication and personal care, this comprehensive option is the right choice, giving you consistency in your care throughout the night.

M&S Care Services can provide care for dementia by supporting you with either visiting or live-in carers; we play as big a role as you need us to. Our home care service is designed to fit around any existing support and to complement any current treatment you or your loved one may be receiving.

Complex care, continuing care or long-term care is the care required for someone with substantial healthcare needs. This could be due to a disability, a debilitating mental health condition or a chronic illness such as Huntington’s Disease or Cerebral Palsy.

It is also referred to when someone undergoes a medical procedure and there are complications, such as brain injury, muscular dystrophy or injury to the spinal cord.

At M&S Care Services we provide complex care support for people who need medium to long-term, continuing specialist or substantial care because of a disability or chronic illness, or following hospitalisation or long-term medical treatment.

Our senior professionals look carefully at individual needs and create a personalised tailor-made plan to give them the best possible care. Whether you are looking to change care providers or have just been given a diagnosis, you are sure to have loads of questions. We have gathered a variety of questions we are asked regularly and hope these answers can help you.

If you or someone you are responsible for is suffering with any of these, then investing in complex care from a specialist is the best option as they will have the experience and understanding required to provide the very best care possible.

End of life care service is a philosophy of care that focuses on the palliation of a chronically ill, terminally ill or seriously ill patient’s pain and symptoms, and brings the skills and practical care associated with the Hospice movement into the home environment.

Our End of life at home service offers dignified end of life care and support to people who wish to spend their final days or months at home. Supported by fully trained, knowledgeable and empathic carers, this type of home care means they are able to remain in a comfortable, familiar environment surrounded by a lifetime of warmth and happy memories.

We know this is an incredibly difficult time for families and offer not only practical help, but also emotional support and gentle companionship, advice and reassurance at a time when they need it the most.

Our fully trained carers can provide day or night time visits to the home, from just half an hour a day, or can move in to the home of the client and provide full-time live-in care and support according to the personalised care plan and the client’s specific needs. This allows families to be safe in the knowledge that their relative’s days will be as free of anxiety as possible under the expert care of a patient and understanding professional

M&S Care Services Stroke Care doesn’t have to happen in unfamiliar surroundings. In fact, we’ve helped many families get back on their feet after a stroke while staying in the comfort of their family home.

A stroke, or transient ischaemic attack (TIA), can have a life-changing impact on a person. But it doesn’t just impact the individual – it has effects on the entire family.

At M&S Care Services we understand how distressing it can be to see how a terminal illness is affecting a loved one. That’s where we can help; by providing specialist palliative care support so your family can make the most of your time together.

Palliative care at home allows you to stay in the place you feel most comfortable, surrounded by memories and the people you love. With the one-to-one support from a compassionate carer who is experienced in palliative care, you can have specialist support whenever it is needed.

M&S Care Services care for individuals with a variety of complex needs, including learning and physical disabilities. In all our focus on delivering person centred and individualised care - we do not believe in a one size fits all approach. Rather we place emphasis on each client’s life choices and preferences, and at all times promote dignity and privacy.
