My mortgage situation was difficult having been an expat and currently being on maternity leave, but Richard at MortgageCube was confident that he would be able to find something that worked for us in terms of a remortgage on one of our buy to let properties. Being based in London wasn't a problem as everything was done over the phone and via email at times and days to suit us, which was perfect when you've got a baby! Richard was a breath of fresh air: three key elements of his service for us:1 I had one 'bounced' payment on a mortgage two years ago affecting my credit rating. Richard was still able to negotiate a good deal with a primary lender.2 Richard successfully argued our case when same lender questioned the security when switching to a buy to let mortgage.3 When our existing lender kept changing their minds about whether to lend ('let to buy' against lending policy, then waived, then applied), Richard stayed with us and remained professional throughout.Overall, we trusted Richard always to be on our side.
