As we were not totally aware of what could be achieved, we effectively presented Mara with a blank canvas. She listened to some of our requirements and added her own suggestions and came up with a an unbelievable design. The images produced were of the highest quality. Then in order for us to see the design 'practically', she came back and went through all the measurements so that we were made aware exactly how and where each part of the design fitted. Our garden was in a completely overgrown state. We couldn't even get to the back of it and that made it really hard to visualise what we could do with the space. We contacted Mara and arranged for her to come round for a site visit. We had a chat about how we wanted to use the space and the general look and feel we wanted to achieve - we then left Mara to measure up (quite a task involving her making her way through all the bushes and brambles!)
Mara went away with the measurements and very quickly came up with two slightly different designs - there were lots of pictures from different perspectives which helped us so much to visualise what we could do with the space. We actually wanted to make a few changes and Mara altered the plans for us no problem, so we could see how we felt about the changes. We're now going with that plan and the garden transformation is underway at the moment!
I would completely recommend Mara to anyone. She is professional, knowledgeable, she also turned the plans and the changes to the plan around super quick. She is a very warm and friendly person to work with, who's obviously passionate about her work. She also looked around the garden to show us which old plants we might be able to save and move (saving us some money!) and added a list of possible planting ideas for a garden that would be at the level of maintenance we wanted. We really didn’t have much of an idea what we wanted but we needn’t have worried. M&M Garden Design have produced a wonderful plan for us. We were particularly worried about what they could do with a corner that slopes badly and has really been ‘wasted’ until now. The new rockery and raised area they have designed looks amazing and we really can’t wait until they come and start bringing it all to life. Throughout Mara has kept in touch and has been very quick to reply to queries and emails. Really happy and looking forward to getting started!! More...

We felt that everything would turn out perfectly after our first discussion. Mara and M&M Garden Design listened carefully to my expectations, the way I imagined my garden and "drew" the project as in my imagination. They were with me with advice, guides, images and in the end everything turned out perfectly.
I worked closely with Mara, who is a perfect professional, whose acquaintances created my color painting in my garden.
