Personal Care is for those who need assistance with:
Continuous Care and Hygiene – In addition to offering toilet support, we change incontinence pads, assist clients with stoma bags and empty catheters. Furthermore, our team can also assist our clients with showering, bathing, strip-wash and bed baths.
Pharmaceutical Assistance – Obtaining and renewing prescribed medication can be difficult. Our service can facilitate the collection of your medication or arrange delivery straight from your pharmacy.
Food Preparation – Ideal for those who need support making drinks, food shopping and cooking, our team can also plan menus and prepare meals.
Morning and Evening Assistance – Help to complete day-to-day activities is important. Support is offered in aspects such as getting dressed and undressed, teeth-cleaning and shaving.
Personal Care can also comprise of offering advice and encouragement, as well as the vital emotional and psychological support that one needs

Designed to give an existing carer a break , it gives the family members and friends of our clients a chance to look after their own health and well-being for a change. Our respite carers will support our clients to the exact same standard of care that they are accustomed to, and are available on a short or long term basis.
There are many advantages of Respite Care. Not only giving the original carer a well-earned break, it gives the client an opportunity to socially interact with another friendly face. Our carers are trained and qualified to deal with any situation, and would be more than willing to undertake personal and domestic care as well as accompany the client to various activities, such as swimming, coffee mornings or bingo evenings.
The purpose of respite care is to give the main carer, the freedom to decide when and where they take a break from caring and is therefore personalised to each client.

Our research and years of experience have identified that many people, especially in older age, become lonely or isolated when they have no family or friends living nearby.
Several of our clients require companionship and reassurance, and Mimms Caring Angels will provide a service to meet those needs. .
As well as having a cup of tea and a chat, we help our clients in a plethora of everyday activities, including:
Shopping
Activity Visits (Theatre, Social Club, Library, Hairdresser)
Trips to visit family/friends
Conducting a security check for their residence
