It was cheap for full re cement bottom garage and re harlin a broken bit on garage also seal up door for free and the garage aswell u had a week to cancel job so dk why your complaing we try to help buy doin extra jobs and this how you respond and fir guarentee a need your email thanks

Great and quick to respond to my request

The job was removal and replacement of a 2 meter section of wooden picket style fencing involving 2 new posts, one of which was to support a garden gate. Unfortunately this review site does not allow posting of photographs.

The soft wood used did not appear to be treated.

The result was an unexpected slat type fence higher than the remaining fence – presumably no power tool was available to achieve consistency of height with the remaining fencing. The gate was attached using 50% fewer (and inferior) screws. The lower (weight-bearing) hinge has now failed (after less than a week) and the gate cannot be closed properly.

A couple of screwdrivers and a digging tool were borrowed, and access to a power drill was requested. Mention was also made to lack of a tape-measure. Because of the lack of a pick-axe to remove a Metpost - without my consent - a tow-rope was borrowed from a neighbour and attached to their van to haul out the old post. On returning the rope, the neighbour reported that it was damaged.

Clearing up on completion of the work was incomplete.

Cash or an immediate bank payment into a personal account was required on completion of the job. Apart from an e-mail informally acknowledging payment - no formal itemised invoice (showing VAT paid and the 6 yr. warranty of workmanship etc.) was issued at the time or subsequently. More...
