What do you love most about your job?
I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of taking client requirements and wishes, working these through with creativity and flair and construction knowledge, in order to develop designs that truly respond to and enhance the lives and patterns of the end user. Furthermore, I like to develop intelligent designs that are sustainable, energy efficient and ecologically sound.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am currently working in professional practice at a medium sized firm, but am looking for additional, private projects.

Sustainable Design
As a certified PassivHaus designer, I am able to help advise on low embodied carbon and low energy projects and develop a project to PassivHaus or EnerPHit standards, reducing operation costs, whilst doing the right thing for the planet.
New Build or Refurbishment / Extension
With significant design and construction experience acquired over the years, I am able to develop both refurbishment / extension or new build projects.
Architectural Design - Concept Design
To provide initial design concepts and case studies / visuals to test and present design options, to be used to moving towards a planning application or for initial costings, ensuring that the client is happy with and inspired by the architectural proposals. Ensuring that the design proposal adds value to the property.
Architectural Design - Planning
Advice on Planning Applications and Planning Conditions Discharge. Developing and submitting the required drawings and documents for planning.
Architectural Design - Next Steps
Development of a Planning Approved scheme to a level that can be submitted to Building Control, or passed on to an independent build company.
