Michaella recovered two chairs for me with loose covers: one wing armchair and one tub. She has an extensive range of fabrics to choose from and quickly got a sense of what I liked. She gave a clear quotation and did the job in a couple of weeks (although I did have to wait a few weeks until she could take them as she has a lot of work). I am really pleased with the results; the chairs look like new with well fitting covers and repaired seat cushions. The final invoice matched the quotation - a very professional job all round. Michaella was helpful in guiding us through the process, choosing fabrics, explaining timescales etc. Because she had a lot of work on (good sign!), we had to wait a little while before our work could be done, but we were advised of this and once we got our slot, it was ready very quickly. I commissioned Micala Upholstery to refurbish a swinging chair left to me by my Dad. It’s quite an unusual piece from the 60’s and was in a pretty poor state having been treated badly over the years. I was delighted to hear they felt it could be brought back to life as it has huge sentimental value to me and my family.
